Leverage of 50:1

is trading 1 lot possible with 50:1 Leverage and an account of 1k. according to my understanding you 1 lot = $100k. so since with an account balance of 1k and leverage of 50:1 we can open a maximum of 0.5 lots to open 1 standard lot we need 2k in a 50:1 leverage am i right(2k x 50 =100k)?

1k (capital) x 50(leverage) = 50,000 (max trade size) that is a half lot.

need 2k for 1 lot or other broker
