GBAD and EUAD bit of reverse at mo.. got 35 out of Az on initial reverse.. got a hi side on at 79 at mo.. wont be hanging around thou..EUAD 15 min looks like setting up for bit of fall..as we speak

Sorry I cannot participate much at the mo, busy at the office. Mrs V's bronchitis keeping her away from the charts still. I have added GA to EA and AUD as the 3 pairs I intend watching at the office. First glance GA seems to move very nicely and more than justifies the higher spread. Lots of chart time needed to come to get familiar with what it does when. Looking at 20 days uptrend, 20 downtrend and 20 days sideways market should reveal most of its quirks.

Amazing change from the EUR, GU and EJ focus from before. I think we have had 1 GU trade in the last few months, cannot remember our last EUR or EJ trade. I suppose some guys are doing well with them still. A friend of mine told me their EA (no idea what its designed to do) that was doing well for some time blew out a massive account after some wild swings (although that alone tells me something not altogether right).

Thanks for reply..V.... Hope your missus gets over wog.. not trying to tell how to suck eggs.. but I find tea.. lemon.. garlic.. ginger.. turmeric.. does wonders..with regard to crazy ness in market.. Have you read Dark Pools.. ?? riveting amazing stuff.. explains reasons why crazy swings.. or should I say possible explanation..worth reading..I will post some charts EUAD.. GBPAd.. aginst adud.. just as matter of interest if you don't mind..

Hello Danc. Going through such articles or Book's really gives me a different perspective about the markets. I've read many such, But in the end, I tend to get a feeling that is discretionary trading still alive ? Are the markets totally captured by Bots ? I've asked this question several times in several forums just to find out the opinions of senior trader's. After such research I feel that we Human trader's still have an edge, Let alone bots take over with some Algos..
It's just my opinion though.

Stick to people like V... and T on Spiders Den.. and you cant go wrong.. I also follow Fx Cubes stuff.. Re market for me 85% short term stuff.. get the enter rite ,load up and get the hell out when she runs.. just my opnion of course..as V said and I think the Bots and EAs are getting a shocking hiding at mo.. coffee this morn wit a big oil.. gold trader.. volume trader..he trades the Wales.. re D.Pool.. voiced same opnion..wot really did happen on NASDAQ last nite..strait out of Dark.. Pools

V.. 2 things fom this post... 20 day thing good tip must look.. also your comment re friend EA.. swings.. exactly what Max my Oil trader mate said this morning re some of his mates ..and EAs.. wild swings causing havock

A change this morning on the pairs being analysed.

A good example between when I haven't really got a clue whats happening and have no bias and like today where we are on a knife edge and I'd be happy to trade either direction but because of that have no bias.

GBPAUD - D closed negative RSI still above 50 level. 4hr yesterday had an evening star pattern, RSI cross lower which did follow through. We have moved into the general area of the 5 Aug highs that may act as support. Can go either way today so no bias, will be happy to consider good candles in either direction.

EJ - D closed positive on the back of 2 x 1hr higher low 3 bar reversals, after London open and US open. Bias up.

EURAUD - D closed negative when the move above 1.4900 was quickly rejected in Asian session. The upper wicks yesterday during London morning on 1hr showing any move up was sold off. For this pair the move lower was not that large so there are buyers around still. D RSI did not cross lower and we are still above the 8lwma (that is due to 2 very large positive closes earlier this week and ma catching up). 4hr is on a lower high and if we turn positive from here a higher low. No bias but would have no problem with flow moving in either direction.

AUD - A very similar mirrored position to EURAUD.

Long in Gold.


Gold was in bullish but last few days it was in range as i have plotted with yellow lines. I anticipated that the move will be north and as expected.

Thoughts Dave ?

Okay. I just saw the news that the move was cause of the US home sales fell apart.
I din't even check the news. It's true that everything is displayed in the chart's..New's or whatsoeve..!!

3 thoughts. Nice trade. I'd lock in some measure of profit moving stop (I know the D 20/50 guys leave stops till target or stop hit). Next target the June highs around 1410/1420.

GBPAUD - D closed negative with sell divergence, still on higher high higher low. 4hr has a base at 1.7200 and is on a lower high. 4hr suggests down, not convinced about D. No bias.

EJ - D closed positive but virtually no follow through from Thursdays range break, no doubt due to the upper resistance level. 4hr divergence right at the highs and RSI crossed lower. There is a base around 131.90 bias up.

EURAUD - D closed a doji, 4hr on a lower high. Short term bias down.

AUD - D closed positive, struggling with the 0.9050 resistance area. Short term bias up.

Hello Dave. Took two trades today one is long in AU.

As daily closed bullish on Friday, I was anticipating a bullmove from the 0.9000 level. It did go high as per my anticipation.

This is the second trade.
Went short in GBPJPY as there was pinbar in Dailyat a key level . Went short after there was a LH and Pinbar in H1. But price shooted back higher. Could not understand this move.
What did I do wrong here ?
