When do you move your stop to breakeven on a trade?
Normally at 2:1 under normal circumstances in a momentum trade (in a trending market).
When the trade is at a higher timeframe SD area, I used to do the same but now I am changing it. My SL will be moved to Breakeven after 4 or 5:1, I will use technical stops moving my SL above/below newly created areas. That's the logic.

Yes, that's the idea I am working at right now. I am gaining the confidence to do that, working on it. I'm not that experienced yet on letting the trades run, but that's the idea, it will all be automated so I shouldn't touch anything. The more time I am away from my trading platform, the better

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. It's important to know where you are located in order to manage your profits, SL, and breakeven.

Once you know you are at nice higher timeframe fresh area, you should just let it run and don't move your breakeven until some opposing H4 levels have been taken out, once that's happened, move your SL above/below previous valid setup in the same direction, and scale in (reload)

i wonder if i can get your input regarding the sp charts.

basically my main Q is if the daily zone i marked is a valid zone to look for some bulls strength or is it just a speed bump on the bears way further down?
(bc recent high is all time high and not a reaction to any zone on the left im a bit hestiant to say that the trend has switched to downtrend on HTF ,also no real demand has yet to be broken..thats basically why im still not sure i can treat it as a speed bump )

if bears do over come this area,are they aiming for the extreme point marked with "A" in ur opinion?

*im having issues up loading 2 pics so i have to do it in 2 different posts.

Regarding your latest webinar and on the AUD/USD of the weekly chart, I notice your demand zone is highlighted in grey and why is it not the blue area as this is the zone that violated previous supply? You also mentioned about the weekly supply zone which I have highlighted in green unfilled box. Is it a valid supply zone as it has not absorbed any demand zone yet.

speedbump h4 with nice profit margin. and w1 trend down.

Have bad feeling your supply zone is not drawn properly, has been three times already consumed, if trade will work out this will hapen from new zones formed after previouse ones, I am not an expert, just fresh after webinar...

yeap been retesting several time on that zone..3 probabilites..whether break up, consolidate then retest down again...
technically my main concern was bearish engulfing momentum on higher TF.. after retest on WK supply, up movement struggle cant break this area. with WK supply above this zone maybe gonna be solid for awhile.
this sept really gonna thrill for dollar since the FED gonna discuss about tappering again, maybe will give big impact..
tomorrow within US existing home sales maybe gonna be spike up for ucad....

R:R Should have been good, as it went down quite a lot afterwards.

It is not 2:1 R:R till the next supply level, but I'm assuming R:R is measured as the distance until price retraces back to the zone itself, right? Not measured to the next zone created?
