Confirmation trades are fully described on the video on Trendlines and other posts. It's also on the last post I sent you (the one with the slide). Go through it, it's very long to repeat, sorry.

A Monthly has MORE weight than any timeframe, don't go against it!That's all I can tell you There are posts discussing on this topic as well. It's common sense, follow common sense rules! This is why a topdown analysis is needed, YOU NEED TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE!

{quote} Thank you for the advice. I will make sure to do that. But as I am trading 1h, do I place more weight on the daily supply/demand in control VS the monthly? Since 1h is short time frame, and monthly, even though is more powerful, is too long for us to make 1h decisions on? and can you describe what you consider "confirmation"?

Planning a long trade on USDCAD on H4 right within a D1 demand area which is also the distal area of a fresh Weekly demand area. I drilled it down to fit my risk.

That single chart says it all. You have to know what the color codes are, the different colored trendlines represent D1 and WK supply and demand areas. So by looking at my long trade on the D1 chart, you will know where you are located. This is the reason why the Rectangle Extender indicator was created.

If price does not make it that low and create nice brand new H4 demand areas, it could also a nice long opportunity as well.

Hi again Axlz!

Please install the indicators I've created to help you draw the levels and extend the rectangles. We can't help you with charts where you have rectangle over rectangle over rectangle, it's time consuming. Take your time to go through the video on how to use the rectangle indicator, how to use it, etc, etc. Don't post charts like those, they are of no help, it creates confusion. Please delete your previous post and post your analysis ONCE you have applied the indicators and know how to use them, ok?

I don't know about the others, but I can't help you with charts like those sorry

We're following some color codes and if those are broken, we can't take my time to help, because it takes our time from doing other things sorry!

Alfonso

Took eur gbp long.

Price in range of daily and weekly demand zones. It didn't quite reach the weekly zone, but it bounced from daily, creates new demand on h4.
Let's see if it isn't too agresive entry.

Price has been bouncing off weekly demand on EURAUD for a week now.

Is it ok to trade these bounces on the 1h?

Price also created an original and fresh demand zone on the 1h.

for me price did not reach the weekly demand level yet.
Still sellers are in controll, so i would prefer to find some supply level on h4 and try to sell.

You're right. I forgot to adjust my demand level to account for the amount the wicks of the other candles had already removed from it.

And look at the recent bullish spike. I'm guessing it was due to news. Good time to look for shorts once new supply levels created?

And If i'm not mistaken, the supply level at 1.462 is actually original and fresh on the 1h?

Find attached a screenshot of the latest higher timeframe supply and demand levels from my spreadsheet. I've reduced the number of pairs I trade on H4 to 15, some of the other ones were highly correlated with others I traded so I removed those. I've added some indexes, Gold, Silver and Brent. In total, I am tracking 21 instruments on H4. If your pair or instrument is not there, you can add it to the spraedsheet manually as explained on the video I had created. Have a great Sunday! I've finnished uploading today's supply and demand webinar on YouTube. The link is at the bottom

On today's webinar we have covered quite a few things, amongst others:

- How to draw a trendline to allow us to filter out bad levels
- How to assess if a speedbump (continuation pattern) is still valid or not
- What to do in order to take a confirmation type of trade when we are at higher timeframe SD areas

If you have any doubts, feel free to post them on the thread!

Have a great day!
Alfonso
