Marginal benefits?
The actuaL market price will trigger the old pivotals most of the time.
It seems the more qualified way to accomodate the pivotals at the daily's actual value, no doubt!
I have 30-50 trades open at different accounts every day. If I would re-adjust older pivotals the whole day long this means an additional expenditure of time. I like more to conserve my analytical energy. It's more a mutually interchangeable error-correcting among all open orders without any updating work.
The other argument is : I'm lazy about doing it most of the time.
Third argument: I have analysis this momentum years ago and have not found statistical reliable differences.

actually my chart says we can hit 3114 before move higher.. no shorting after that probably
