Ideal place for short would be 3275, but I suspect it can reach so high now

Do you use the Hurst Exponent for juding the pattern?

Sorry sir, draw them by hand with fibs. Then compare with s/d and look for confluence and symmetry. Then watch PA.

the Gartleys I find by using the ZUP62 MT4 indicator. PT uses ZUP92, when I remember correctly. Try them out, they are worth the try and can spare you much time.

The Hurst Exponent is a numerical estimate of the predictability of a time series. It is defined as the relative tendency of a time series to either regress to a longer term mean value or 'cluster' in a direction.

So when you find a Harmonic pattern, you can look at the Hurst Component to get another edge, if the Pattern will resolve, or if it is most likely for the price to continue its route.

Some users of Harmonic Pattern use the Hurst exponent as additional measurement, others not.

I understand what it is and will take a look and try it out. As you can probably tell, I was trained as a Finance guy, not a scientist.

I prefer to draw patterns by hand as it is my belief it helps you identify and "see"and understand them, as well as give you a outlook for future PA.
