We Elliotticans think, that price and pattern simply follow social mood. In Elliott Wave, Psychology, Socioeconomics we do believe, that social mood does not need an external trigger to change direction. So the simplest answer is:

Solution is: it can only be the other way around.


But keep in mind:

especially i Forex we wittness from time to time ultra strong fundamental triggers for movement, namely rate decisions. Such events can alter the short and medium term counts, but unlikely the long term counts

That's a very interesting explanation

If I may, I would like to add one more simple reasoning to your explanation.

Again going on the assumption that elliot waves are a natural phenomenon which cannot be disputed, much like fibonacci levels, then it is very reasonable to conclude that the wave patterns do not apply only to how market participants trade the charts, but also how consumers, businesses and governments makes decisions. Therefore it is the social mood that determines what the fundamentals will be. In that way we have a synergy between the fundamentals and the charts.

Therefore, in conclusion, the fundamentals are predictable through elliott wave analysis.

So far, counting from the top in EU, it looks like a 1-2-(1-2-3

in this last 3 we are most likely in subwave 5 (5 of 3 of 3)

3252-3256 would then be a nice counter target for wave 4 of 3

Someone asked me, if we can not count 1-2-3-4-5 from the top. The answer is easy: wave 3 would be shorter than wave 1 and wave 5

I think there are still many supports here,so PA can bounce from here,let's see how the H1 candle close in 20 minutes and I will decide to take a long EU or not!

LOL I'll take that as a compliment and offer my sincere thanks.

I am already a writer. I am a seasoned IT consultant and I have written thousands of technical papers. I'm done with that now... at least for now anyway. Maybe some day I will write a book about my adventures as an IT consultant turned Forex trader.

Upside may be capped by 1.33

And when above 1.325 bias remains bullish.

Bear target maybe not for today but remain 1.317x area.

Also we may get nice engulf bear candle on Daily TF.

That would be good news for those who like to eat barbeque beef

My sentiment is similar, but I think we may still see a spike upwards to finish off this bull market once and for all. If we get it, then 1.3415 should be the top.
