Disliked{quote} Thanks! I worded my post wrong by saying counter trend i think. I meant to say i thought it was going to go long when it hit the demand. Could you elaborate on SD Range? Its not clicking for me.Ignored
Hi Nametaker.. Your question: Could you elaborate on SD Range?
Here is an example of what I call a SD Range Trade. Simply taking trades at the extremes of the range where SD Levels coincide/confluence.
Many times..but not always, you will see Supply Demand Levels set up with range activity. Again... the opportunity to trade both Range and Trend markets presents themselves when trading SD. IMHO very few methods allow for this opportunity.
I use volume as an indication of Activity within the CONTEXT of current and previous PA. I observe many of the principles of Volume Spread Analysis, such as High Volume on Upthrust Candles, etc. and have added my own Context Analysis to these principals.
As you can see my trading style is a bit different than Alfonso's. I present this chart as to answer your question only. Out respect for Alfonso's thread, any further questions please PM me. I DO NOT want to disrupt what Alfonso is trying to teach. His trading style ( as we have seen ) is very effective and can give you a solid foundation in which to develop your own trading style using Supply and Demand.
Good trading to all
