DislikedGadi_TickVolume and Bollinger Band Timing - Initial review - (Balfx idea) Same as previous post, on H4 chart. Initial conclusion: This method looks good ! Main PROS - very good Risk/Reward (better than 1:2) Clearly defined Entry/SL/TP ToDo: 1. Trend and Retracement identification 2. Bollinger Band parameters optimization for this method and/or TF's 3. Entry to SL ratio/min. Your input on this is much appreciated. G. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi gg53, I see you are moving forward..... I have a quick observation to make if I may..... Notice the blue circles I have added on your chart....every time it breaks out of the band......we have a nice move to the opposite side..... Now this needs of course deeper testing cause like I said it is only a quick observation...... Have a nice weekend.... 4x {image}Ignored

DislikedJust an interesting observation as I work my way reading through this thread. One of the most popular indicators you will see used in Forest Factory used for entries is the TDI--when the green line crosses the red line. Look how closely the Gadi Tick Volume Divergence indicator matches it (when dots are formed). In fact, at times it picks the signal 1 bar earlier and when the dot does not appear you can stay in the trade longer. Does it repaint? If not, it is a great tool! {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi gg53, Why not to think about Support/Demand zones and not in trends? Look at the following charts and pay attention to the green squares (confluences of 4hour and 1day supply/demand zones) Don´t pay me too much attention, I´m a newby. Excuse for my english. DislikedI made my over here after the Similarity thread was locked out by the OP. I saw gg53's name come up in discussion so I came over to see if this method/logic was similar to what Eurusdd was showing us I am all about trading in a "not so common" way. Any talk about what the big boys are up to and I am in. So far, I have landed 60 pips using only Gadi_currencies and Gadi_OBV. These 2 alone seem to work pretty well. I just had some questions 1. Although you recommend London session, would trading pairs in their respective zones (i.e. USD/CAD during...Ignored
Dislikedhi gg53, I was trying to combine gadi_tickvolume_divergence indicator with stoch... using overbought and oversell signals from stoch ad triggers and tickvolume_divergence for entry.. and it does look promising... Inputs appreciated. Entry Exit Rules: 1) Buy/Sell mode gets triggered when Stoch enters overbought/oversold zone. 2) With buy/sell mode triggered tickvolume_divergence dots act as entry. 3) Optional: Break Even when price candle touches middle Bollinger band. 4) Exit : When price candle touches the opposite Bollinger band. regards Max Edit:...Ignored
