I don't know who in the US that they survey to get those numbers, but whoever they are don't look at the whole debt that the US is in!!

For the purpose of this report, it doesn't really matter what they look at. What matters is what they think.

In fact if every citizen of every country were to look deep into their state finances and base their confidence on their findings, the whole global economy would grind to a halt.

if 1672 goes (weak), 1655 has to hold. If not, most likely below last low @ 1562

Waiting for the 3rd of 3rd of 3rd....everytime I think we are starting the wave turns out to be corrective! Frustrating!

What the hell are they waiting for? Armageddon?
The sooner they get the much needed significant correction out of the way, the sooner the markets can look a bit healthier for them.
The more they delay, the higher degree of panic there will be when reality strikes.

We don't want panic.. Just an orderly decline in the index.
When panic strikes, Benny tends to start up the printing presses again... and that I certainly do not want.

It means volume is dying off for the week, and on that note I'm taking a break.

Best for my shorts would be an "orderly" decline, step by step, each day half a % or so, over the next few years LOL
