Just want to add my thanks for this thread and (I've read it from post one at the beginning) the inspiration it gives, not to mention the generous amount of free help.....what a breath of fresh air that is, in a industry that seems to squeeze every cent from those learning. Well done C-12.

C-12 and Infest could I ask a couple of quick questions.

1. On the 5min entries on average/general what SL distance do you employ. I realise that PA will be the final factor so I'm after just an average to give me a feel for the risk vs reward ratio you are factoring in to your trades. I remember C-12 was using a 7 pip SL.

2. I noticed Infest you trade CL (oil) with your MT4 platform what broker are you using? And C-12 you were using (from memory) Pepperstone, now you are trading fulltime are you still with them or have you changed?

1. Yes thats about correct for M1 and M5 I also try to enter with very small stop loss, M5 with a bit of PA, but M1 mostly no PA at all, in order to keep stops very small (4-7pips) ... M5 its at most 10 pips.

2. That is with XE Markets. But I will probably switch broker next times. Some say ICMarkets does a good job on that, but you can also use FXPro, both have Crude Oil in their repertoire. I use pepperstone for scalping.

Are you using any other ea's except for the (can't remember the name) the SD zones. Are you like C-12 and enter with 2 lots with one taken off to lock in some profit and the remaining 1 lot left for a runner:-)

Last question, do you use the rsi for divergence?

Depends on my account Im using. I look at my % risk first, usually about 1-2% per trade risk.

I have rsi on but I never look at it really, doesnt affect my entry at all.

Coming back to what this thread is for... one minute trades

Here a few example with heavy momentum engulf and make usage of them as scalps:

Risk: 3 pips - took 50% after (4:1) after 12 pips ... now at BE and running. Kind of the same as C-12 is scalping. Try to get in at good levels with small stop, take some off and leave a few which can turn into runners.

Been busy with my J O B today and could not babysit trades this morning.

So widened my stop and dropped my risk down and tried working on my patience a bit.

Done and dusted

GU looking a bit messy and I got a little exited with adding positions to quickly and had had a stop out because the SL was not above the days high.

I think C-12 might be enjoying the English summer and has taken a break for a day or two
