I play BF3 and at the same I can look at the chart on my different screen. Sometime I even forget that I'm in a trade

I like to listen my favorite music while trading . When I am waiting with open positions I use stop loss , take profit and during this time I search on web or read about forex . reading is a good way of learning for me.

wow, would have never thought of that question. I guess if you asked anybody in another field what they do while working, they would all answer: "eh,... work, maybe drink coffee?"

It wouldn't have even come to my mind that if you are a full-time trader you would not focus on your only income source a 100% of the time. But I guess that's why 99% of people here fail.

My advice to you: go get a real job, in which you are required to concentrate on your tasks until you are off work. Then a year later go back to trading. Now you will hopefully have developed the right habits of staying focused.

haha, ff people always amaze me. But without you dumb people, this game wouldn't be as profitable as it is

I thing it is wrong question... how to use time when traidng is the right one, when I get older and older and this kind of question shock me a bit .....

In my opinion - full day-time trading as only job is really a bad idea and a time-ticking bomb to failure.

The market sometimes is so naturally intoxicating that even experienced ones start to "believe" that they "got it right this time also" and gonna make a "big boom". Met already 2 people lost 6-digit dollar amounts in an over-the-weekend-margin-call-event.

I'm not nearly planning quitting any day job or day-to-day business deeds to focus on trading. I consider and will always do trading, online investing, real estate management as profit amplifier and nice dividend source of income. It really works great for me so far - keeps me focused on real things and real opportunities instead on candles and "ichimoku"s :-).

I think when you go to work, the employer demands your 100% focus on his tasks. And in a way we surrender to the employer, even if we don't want or like doing it, for the compensation employer offered. So at work we basically put part our brain to sleep and other part simply execute external instructions. Ha, ha work is so easy ...

watching random parts of the 1987 movie Wall Street (or other wall streets movies but this one is by far the best one) . For some kind of weird reason that still eludes me, trading after watching short parts of that movie always seems more fun, it helps me focus. 15 mins of Wall street and I'm good for the rest of my session, no need for other distractions.

very true...this is why I never plan full time trading, its not about money but to keep my self busy while market does its job.

I think we should only focus on trading during the trade but we can relax a little bit with listening some good and sweat music.

Yes Right. Sometime we people are getting so bored. But definitely I can tell u that if you are losing that time then you will be in pain not in boring. ha ha.. It can be passed watching music videos, solo songs, researching, checking accounts etc whatever you would like to do!!

i listen audio music in at my trading time all the maximum time and i got much attention to my work. That is my good or bad habit may be... haahaaha lol
