1.3070 (actually 1.3072) has been a key pivot for a very long time. Every time price has come to this area, it has hung around for a while. If it gets hung here again, I see sideways action until next week.

You think the price for it bounces from this level? Maybe so is .. I am not a supporter of the pivot levels. I do not even know how to calculate. I know there are many calculators for this.

Interest why do you think the impulse will not continue?
We have grown rapidly in the price. How fast? Faster than the fastest line in the fan. For me it is 10x. I.e. the speed is greater than 152.5 pips per day.
Could now, the price suddenly stop? In general we know that on the market anything is possible. We will see ...

Here see. This is the line at a speed of 152.5 pips per day. I.e. from 2755 to the current rate is just such.

Monthly (data of the last 32 months) 3096
weekly (last 32 weeks) 3088
daily (last 32 days) 3077

well, that is important enough, at least for me :-)

Well, am trying to make sense of the blabbering of the FED's, ECB's etc:


Maybe they try desperately to peg the EURUSD at around 1.3000

For me it looks like a gamble they are playing with us: taper - non taper - taper - non taper; then the ECB talking heads chime in with rates down, rates up etc.



I think they all now, that US has to taper, and EU has much to ease (look at all the de facto bankrupt EU countries).

So they keep the speculators hanging as long as possible to keep the Euro some time up

Well that all depends if yesterday's move was an impulse... which I don't agree with. In fact, yesterday's move was a correction from both a market sentiment POV as well as technical. I also believe the correction is over as evidenced by the lack of follow through today on top of a few technical indications which also suggest that a correction was overdue (such as a bullish hidden divergence on the daily charts plus unfinished PA retest business at the 1.3190 area.)

Of course this is just my humble opinion based solely on 12 years trading experience. I do not mean to undermine your analysis at all. Just offering my two cents worth

There's not much decoding to do really. Benny just had to clarify some points on what "taper" means and he wanted to make it very crystal clear to the markets that it did not mean rate hikes any time soon.

Once the bond vigilantes got the message, they covered their positions... and because it happened after hours in a low volume market condition, the move was exaggerated and turned into a stop hunting short squeeze by the big boys who price spot markets on the Interbank. Simple really. It was a storm in a teacup and now it's over. CNBC and Bloomberg are really making a much bigger deal about this than it is worth.

I feel that I am wrong somewhere? I do not want to ignore your experience. On the contrary. I want to discuss freely.
Even talk about correction. It may be a zigzag. Yesterday - impulse. Consolidation today and tomorrow - impulse.

Edit: While the price does not go over the top 3417 will always talk about the correction.
