i think so! Im playing with my nifty new indicator/tool that i programmed, and its usually good news when the lines on the right side of the chart start acting as support and resistance !

bullish fomc mins reaction, oil @ $106.30 with usd weakening. I am not ready to fade the oil move, had thought USO $38 would be my entry, not sure now, USO $37.6 now, 52-wk high. HOLY Smokes I go out to the gym for a few hours and I get back the Kiwis have sold the USD, E/U up 300 pips today?

Gold up to $1,280+? TLT up $1.38 after hours? NUGT up 9.5% after hours? WTF is going on?

IDK, but all my trades straightened out and went itm after hours....

all after hours reaction, not putting in any trades until friday. will wait to see confirmation tomorrow

yes NY Thursday is going to be interesting...

i'm guessing we see 10y Tnote yield back toward 2.50, so TLT moving toward $110 or better by the end of the week, I hope, since I have the $110 Aug TLT calls. What gold and the miners do I can only guess, I need to see the miners finally follow thru with gold if it can keep it up and get past $1300, cuz I've got Jul 20 NUGT $6 calls, can they be revived?. Financials will prolly like the Bernanke words and rise, too. Oil should benefit from a weaker USD if that holds. We'll see...

We might also see the em stocks come back strong - EEM Jul 26 $40 calls closed at $0.08, I might take a stab at an entry premarket.

Lots of volume on the put side of EEM - Wed's most active option was EEM Aug 13 $37.5 put - ~520k

EEM dropped from $44 post May 22 FOMC minutes. I spec it can get to $41 pdq. Aug 17 $41.50 calls last traded at $0.06. I might have a better chance getting filled there.

May have to take a put in GDX towards the end of the trading day if it trading below $24.71, either the $24.50 or $24 puts, this will also depend on GLD and GOLD 1365 is what i need

had an entry @ $0.12 and it opened around $0.20

only trade today sold UNG Aug $18 puts for $0.31, to go with the UNG Oct $21 calls I bought @ $0.65 last week...

--- actually didn't get filled, will watch tomorrow, may get a little more anyway if natgas slides.

NOT taken as nothing has met my price criteria, so if i see GDX trade above $25.10 tomorrow i will buy the closest call strike option or if GDX trades under 24.75 i will buy the 24.50 put or 24.00 it all depends where we open

Based on the SLW trade i'm planning it looks as though it could be calls on GDX

Make or break for me on NUGT Jul $6 calls tomorrow, at this late date need to see around $6.50 just to break even.
Will be out in the sticks all day so will hope to get some positive movement in the morning. Been a rough week here. Have July SDS calls that are on their way to expiring worthless next week. Will need all other trades closed itm in next 2 weeks m/l just to cancel that loss. C'est la vie...

fool, are you doing ES futures? i regularly trade ES futures options based on anticipated gamma at turnarounds. in fact, its one of my fav strats

no, not trading futures now, but have in the past, inc options on futures. ES plenty liquid. Throw up some more info on how you trade - I'd like to see what you do.

in todays most active options list - somebody bought 27,064 Jul VXX $28 calls for $0.01 apiece.
