Karish did you use super signal v3 + zigzag + Stochastic like Denis told or just added the zigzag at the tdhwl system?

Hi, for this system I used the super signal v3 on default settings. I resently tried trading with just the basic standard stochastic indicator on default settings, and it showed impressive positive results.

Hi renanc93, I am going to try this on the 5 minute as you state. So far I only tried this strategy on the 15.. I'll comment here how it does on the 5.

I tested this system on the 5 minute timeframe. DO NOT USE THIS SYSTEM ON ANY TIMEFRAME LOWER THAN THE 15 MINUTE TIMEFRAME USING ONLY THE 2 ORIGINAL INDICATORS AS I STATED. Do not trade against the 15 minute timeframe. It is my opinion that both indicators do not work well on the 5 minute. If you are a professional trader, and know which indicators to add to this system for it to function well on lower timeframes.. then by all means.. go for it! Best of Luck.

Hi rockrobb,
The repainting issue is really bad with the cycle identifier indicator on the minute 5 timeframe. The signal appears and then disappears. However, on higher timeframes.. both the cycle identifier, and super signal v3.. seem to me to be more stable. Both these indicators repaint though. I have attached to this post the forexfreedom indicator. This indicator does not repaint. I think the forexfreedom would be an excellent indicator to enter a trade.. but not to exit one. If you or some one reading this thread has time to test.. then try entering a trade on the minute 30 timeframe using the forexfreedom, and exit on any reverse signal which is indicated by the super signal v3 also on the minute 30. I think this will produce way more winners and safer trading too. Best of luck.

Instead of alerting me to every spike how would change the alert options to only provide alerts to major spikes either red or blue.

thanks

Hey renanc93, sorry for the late respond.., was a bit busy those days,

yeah i have my own MT4 setup with the super signal v3, im using stochs too.. slow+fast, and zigzag also and it really helps with the ssv3.

im a professional trader and im trading for a living, using m5 charts as standard, (is all about what you prefer and how you see the charts!*)

im using 8,2,3 zigzag* + yes the ssv3 is repaints but you will get it if you will use the stoch with it

best of luck and thanks for the ind again tdhowl

Your welcome Karish. ,,, In response to gkawa22's question.. I did not create the forexfreedom.ex4 indicator. I obtained it many years ago when it was distributed freely on the internet. If I recall correctly, it was designed to be used on the 1hour and above timeframe. I think though it will work ok on the 30 min. timeframe too. If you installed this indicator on a 1 minute, or 5 minute chart.. you will get a lot of signals. It was not designed for this. Use it on the chart of the hour 4 timeframe.. and you will only see the major trend change. TD

Hi, I changed the original system in the first thread. it is my intention to help others to make money in forex. I think the original system was flawed. In some market situations it would be profitable and in others it would fail. I now think to constantly have more wins then loses... a trader must enter the market with a non repainting indicator.

Hello tdhowl,
thanks for this update.
Are you only using zigzag + the new Non Tepaint SuperTrend?
Any special settings?
Could you post and example for entry and "filter" for not entry?
Thanks

Hello smarco,
your welcome.
Yes only the 2 indicators.
I always use indicators on default settings. If I'm looking for a stronger confirmation.. I'll view or use the indicators on a higher timeframe on default settings. Next week I'll try and post examples. I think in my files I have a custom zigzag that may work better than the standard zigzag and keep us in a trade longer for more pips. I'll see if I can find it.. If I can.. I post it too then. No one taught me how to trade, and I developed bad habits when trading. My biggest mistake I made I think was using a repainting indicator, or indicators to enter a trade. Repainting indicators are great for exiting a trade. From now on I'm changing my style of trading, and only going to enter a trade with a non re-painter.

I updated my new system on the first post of this thread. I included indicators. I am confident this updated system is far better then the previous one.
