Trailing stop code required

i have this script to put 2 pending orders at the same time. but i need to add a trail stop to it with a variable value...

I need help with this EA. Its purpose is for auto trade buysellarrow



1) when arrow down (red) auto sell with SL 50 pis, TP 10 pips
2) when arrow up (aqua) auto buy with SL=50 pis, TP=10 pips

if it is a script then you don't get the opportunity to change variables at time of execution. therefore you would have to edit and recompile the script each time if you wanted to use variable distances.

the script is not actually that well written with no error checking etc.

a lot of brokers will require you to set the SL after the order, not at the same time, and some will not allow a trailing stop on an order only on an open position. trailing stops are with the broker platform and do not sit inside the market like a pending order.

so what I am saying is that a script to do what you want needs to create the orders, check the orders, create the stops, check the stops and cope with any errors that come along, there are often plenty of errors with trailing stops as different brokers have different rules and change them on the fly.

So if you still want such a thing with the limitations of a script then I think that you would be better off getting a decent script written that will do it all properly rather than just adding trailing stop code which may work one minute and not the next as the broker changes distances etc.
