Moreover, most of the Gold traded worldwide, is traded out of the stock, and not out of new production. When I remember the numbers right, new production accounts only for less than 5% (have to digg out the real number). That means: even when Gold price stays a while below production costs, it does not mean end of the world.

from the perspective of elliott wave on 2 hour chart we should see a ABC correction or the last wave 5 or A-B-C-D-E. I expect a ugly correction next week !!!!

I have to disagree with this count. From what I see we have only reached wave 3 and we are now painting wave 4

My reasoning behind this is that between wave 3 and wave 5, you must see a MacD bearish divergence. However in this case I don't see one. What I do see though is a bullish hidden divergence in this latest move lower which indicates to me that we are now completing wave 4 and by my visual calculations, once price breaks above the high again, we will see a MacD bearish divergence which will clearly indicate a wave 5

Euro/USD and DXY cannot go up at the same time unless the whole world flips upside down. The DXY is mostly made up of the Euro (57.6%). Whoever is suggesting this would be suggesting that the JPY (13.6%), GBP (11.9%), CAD (9.1%), SEK (4.2%) and CHF (3.6%) are heading to hell in a massive way.

Be very careful what you believe.

While it is certainly possible for the Euro to gain against the USD while the USD gains against other currencies, the end result would still be that EUR/USD and DXY travel in different directions.
