How to get 1-5 pips with 100% win ratio?

Guess121, it is not that I don't trust you but it would add to your credibility if you showed us a verified track record instead of those screen shots. I mean the whole idea of your posts is to show how good a trader you are, right ?

I am merely stating that it can be done... I use a snipping tool to get the screenshots onto here, look at the times the trades have been opened and closed and then look at a chart to confirm.

Trading without a stoploss and hedging out of a position if trade goes against you can work a few times, if you are lucky enough to have the market not much too much.

Ultimately you are hoping that the market eventually flattens out and you can close both positions (original and hedged) in such a way that the cumulative loss becomes zero.

But the problem of hedging is that you have to time the exit of not one, but two or more additional orders. If the market explodes hundreds of pips away from your original order, how do you know when to close your hedge at whatever profit, and how can you be so sure that the market will return to a level that you can exit the original trade without much loss?

I don't think people should be critical of Guess's methods - he's virtually quadrupled that account by doing nothing more than following price and using hedging instead of a stoploss. This is a refreshing approach given the hundreds of methods on here with indicators and rules that just do your head in. I personally hope that Guess continues to post his daily efforts, even the odd bad day would be appreciated as I'm interested to see how he deals with those.

To counter what Falcon said the idea of hedging is to freeze a loss, until you decide how best to try to turn a profit from the situation. If the market moves against your buy order by 10 pips for example and you place the opposite sell, it doesn't matter if the market goes up or down 100 pips you are down 10, but the market doesn't need to come back to your original price to turn an overall profit on the combined position. The market could go down 100, hedge goes off, so you take the 100 pip profit on the sell, you are down 110 pips on the buy, after which the market moves backup 15 and you lose 95 pips, but overall profit of 5 on the combined positions. Of course the market can also continue falling and you can end up having to hedge again. All hedging does is buy time and allows the trader to re-analyse. It is not for everyone and many would argue just take your loss and move on, but interested to see how Guess deals with it.

Guess, can you link your account to a stats program, like myfxbook, or forexfactory's own stats system?

and maybe explain with more detail how you're doing it ? when/how you hedge, MM, etc, so that everybody can understand and maybe construct something useful out of this

Getting 1- 5 pips really not a big deal even the most new trader can achieve this, BUT THIS SHOULD BE LIMITED TO 1-5 PIPS ONLY. Now again if you wait for more or wait for bigger returns you know the consequences.

It is possible to get 5 pips per day but when you get a loss, then you have to recover that loss plus you have to make your 5 pips also, its on those days when it gets tough.

I thought anything on a low time frame (less than 1 hour) was a no-go for anyone who wanted to make consistent money?

Just observe the candle movement and obtaining 1-5 pips is not a big deal, just be fast in action.

I agree with you, by only showing results even if you are increasing your capital with green pips, one can doubt in that, why don't you show your full history and keep on adding the new trades ahead instead of showing ONLY TP hit results.

I think it is possible to scalp few pips with near to 100% win ratio. I believe there is a movement that can be predicted for a period of time. The idea came from multiple time frame analysis, i am still working on this to find a valid statistical prove about pips and time for one signal, for how long it will be end. It is something like similarity and dissimilarity movement across all time frame, because you sure know about all the time frame movement should align/sync together or not.
