FX Prime Revisited

Hi Esser, being busy during last few days, but checked charts with the old FX Prime on. Next week I'll have more time to try out also Tedster's version and then I'll post some questions that are already showing up on just observing the indicators' reaction.

Took to trades today on the EUR/USD, 1st for +20 pips... my plan was just to hang around for the it reach a 10 pip profit but it got a run on so I just let it go, I felt I had already waited around that long anyway. 2nd was for +5, time was really getting late into the 1st London hour and coming up against the news so I bailed at that point.

Would it be possible for you to post the free version of the trendstuffer indicator or is this also not allowed????????

Scalpip, I've found downloadable versions of Trendstuffer on many Forex forums and sites, just google "trendstuffer indicator free" and you'll find them too.

Because the proprietary site is still up and working, even if the copyright notice is frozen at the year 2008, I prefer not posting it.

Believe me, it's really easy to download it.

I tried to demo the original FXPrime this morning, but by using just that system, I noticed that I get too late into the move... and the good pips are over!
I think my problem is that I always wait for the CCI 170 confirmation to cross the 0 line, while all the rest is already good to go many pips back!
But if that is the rule, one has to follow it.
Well, never say never... While I was writing, took a trade on UsdJpy and made 13 nice pips, obviously following the rules!

Tomorrow I'll try Tedster's version.

Thanks for the info no wish to create problems for anyone, will do as you suggest.

Rescator, Two things I think have been helping me out 1) Extra volatility during the 1st hour that the market opens. 2) In general the 170 would be already in the direction of the trade, then the 34 and RSI cross (along with good price action) to give the entry.

Well - nice to see this method rejuvenated! I was one of the first posters on the original Canadian Dude's thread, and while he did indeed eventually scam a lot of people into purchasing his commercial method ( which was pretty poorly put together) I did make a very nice profit trading the free system for a year or two. I never liked a couple of his indicators (RSI for one) and if anyone has read some of my postings there you'll see I switched the RSI for the BBMacD indicator - mostly because, for me, I was use to it and I found it to be superior. (If interested you can find it by Googling for it.)

Why did I quit? When you're scalping 1M or 5M charts you eat your meals in front of the computer and afraid to even take a bathroom break for fear of missing a good signal. Eventually I had to ask myself the question "what's the advantage of making money if you no longer have a life and the opportunity to enjoy it with the money you're making, or being able to spend time with your family?
It took quite a long time for me to realize I was burning myself out. I had to leave it and go to much higher time frames. But if you're a newbee and want to make a nice profit for awhile to build up your nest-egg I highly recommend learning the system!
