Nailed this POS. Goal was to get 2/3 off @ 1:1.5 before news came into play. That worked then the rest at about 50 pips.

Simple s/d no fancy stuff. To quote Red......"BOOM"

Flat is often times the position of choice for traders and nontraders alike.........

The base you pointed is not a good base to short, why?

2 reasons:
1. We are too low already, you want to sell after a big drop in price
2. Even if there had not been such a big drop in price, the level does not provide you with a 3:1 profit margin. That is, from my risk (width of level + spread + wiggle room) to the place where price started to rally.

If I don't have a minimum of 3:1, I won't take a level.
