Catching The Pimp's Trend

Opened a GJ sell@ 132.33 about an hour after market open,closed half at 132.03, other half set to BE+3.
Looking for more shorting opportunities if it heads higher. Macd cross confirmed on UJ daily,expecting a major yen move soon.
Still watching for 130.53

The pair seems to be caught in a range,but has been making LHs on H4 chart, and registered a recent low today..gonna wait and see how the asian market reacts,assuming the SL isn't hit.

Hello folks…A happy profitable 2013 to you. The holiday season is essentially over. Einstein advised to make everything as simple as possible but not simpler. I looked at my screen charts, and there are a lot of colors and lines all over the place. I found an MTF CCI indicator that seriously cleans up the chart and still presents viable signals that coincide with the strategy entry signals. As a matter of fact, the cci indicator gives early entries, of cos not all signals are valid…and a ranging market will totally get your knickers in a twist…


My recommendation, 5% SL…above or below swing high/low……or above/below consolidation areas.
SL to BE @ +35pips, and take half off the table. TP is at your discretion..
Taking out all the MAs, on H1 we buy once the cci is blue above zero, and sell when the cci is red below zero.


Please note that the indicator takes cci readings off multiple TFs…The MA running through the cci indicator is a 20ema…happy piping..i will post my trades and possible screen shots as they occur…I think this approach is relatively……simpler. Is it profitable??..

EU giving a sell signal..but i'm not considering it yet...macd is giving an opposite signal.
the USD index also looks like its losing some steam....got my eyes on the GU for a possible buy...the way i see it, if we are having a weak USD today, the best pair to buy would be the GU...if we have a strong USD, the best pair to sell would be the EU...lets see how the hour closes...

closed trades @1.5874 and 1.5876....PA currently at resistance...will watch for a possible dip....Even with an upward breakout, i doubt it will go up much...watch to see how the daily closes....the EG pair has kept the EU down, thats my reason for ignoring the EU...happy piping..

so i am going back to the basics:

Lesson 2:
i believe in the ability of the human brain to absorb large quantities of data, so i'ill just let it all out...

trade ONLY in the trend direction...
buy dips in an uptrend, sell rallies in a downtrend..

i have attached the indicator, and nanningbob's manual. its a good read.

Lesson 3:
not more than 5% exposure, some are comfortable with 3%.....when buying dips, SL below recent low....and above recent highs, when selling rallies...
Lesson 4:
Scale into the trades, enter in parts and only add to your trades when in profit...(some could say this is common sense)
