How do you compare Yesterday Close Zone and Today Open Zone to see How often will a pre-defined Fibonacci Zone be reached?

According to the PDF is :

a. yesterday Close with Zones using Before Yesterday HLC Candle, and
b. Today Open (yesterday close) with Zones using Yesterday HLC Candle.

and in the Excel file, (Zone 1 and Zone 2) are:

c. Before Yesterday Close (yesterday open) with zones using Before yesterday HLC Candle, and
d. Yesterday Close (today open) with zone using Yesterday HLC Candle.

if you look closer:

b. = d. (are the same)

both use Today Open (or yesterday Close )
both Yesterday HLC Candle

but,

a. != c. (not the same)

a. use Today Open (Yesterday Close), and
c. use Yesterday Open (Before Yesterday Close).

both with Before yesterday HLC Candle.

anyone working there with these values that want to share his analysis?
how is the best way to compare?
according to pdf or according to excel?

Is my calculation correct or I am wrong ? and both use same way to compare? WIth too many values i maybe wrong.

hopes someone can help in this.

Best regards,

is it correct that we assume 2 days highest and lowest as a one range and add yesterday close / today open value to calculate Balance Point (according to excel file) ?

according to the pdf file: it takes, yesterday HLC, 1 Day. but in the excel file this is an addition to filter if Yellow Fibo and Red Fibo mismatch.

now if it is correct I guess it is, please check the pdf in this post: here, here it use a 5 days Balance Point, and 3 Days Range, of course is another system, but pretty similar.

Hey guys!

I am interested to code this system into an EA, can someone here with good experience in trading this system, to give me some input?
Example: Where to long (SL & TP) and where to short (SL & TP) is the good result. How many trade to be made per day?

After the EA is done. I will post here, so someone here could improve the system from backtesting.
Thanks.

ok I'm ready. So the following should make sense, please let me know: - 1 scenario: we have concurrent yellow, red and green..this is the strongest signal, no mind of sma100 - 2 scenario: we have concurrent yellow and red....this is a strong signal anyway, so no mind of sma100 -3 scenario: we have yellow opposite to red or vice versa....as we need at least 2 concurrent signals we have to check which direction is showing the green one and where is sma100...if prices are above sma100 we have to choose yellow, so if yellow and green are concurrent...

Hi,

anyone can tell me which time frame we use when we want to check the sma100, is it H1 or D1

thanks

Hi,

May I know about HLC an update? been doing this for two weeks and it seems okay. I do take the 3signals only and its been profitable so far..the best trade is during monday, however when i updated the sheets on Wednesday i got 3 signals but i didn't work out just like my trade last monday, all trades was SL hit, maybe there is still room for adjustment for this strategy.

Thanks,

someone once told me that TA is when you expect "A" to happen but then "B" happens, it gives you opportunity. At least in theory.....

so: you can try to trade the failed fibs, but fibs are a rabbit hole man....

the best advice somebody gave me 10+ years ago was to go take your money and start an ice cream shop or do something else. I should have listened. lol

Why would you want advice from me though anyway? I'm just some random dude on the internet. I've never even tried the indicator in this thread. Full disclosure.

Basically what I'm saying is : Always Consider the Source!

If you need more advice let me know. I'm full of cliches and stuff that sounds good when you say it fast.

quick example what i saw on demo last night>>>>>

fair warning: not all of them work out so well.... but in the Spirit of keeping it positive, showing a good one.

I've been using fibonacci for 10+ years though so..... currently testing he 69.1 and 80.9 levels (1/2 or 138.2 and 1/2 of 161.8) respectively
