I also traded this one in GBPNZD, but with a loss. I closed the trade in the third bar after I opened it. The trade was against me at the very first bar: - 7pips.

Maybe in this last one (GBPNZD) the fall was so big, that I should had realised that the downtrend was over. I don´t know, maybe. From now on, I will put more attention on this type of situations.

I think that the best way to trade PINs on small time frames is to trade them only on majors. In my opinion, every other crosses just follow E/U. So if you have sell pin on exotic pair and the price is rising on E/u- don't play.

I play only E/U,and i think that it's more than enough.

In attached screen you can see good trades-in my opinion. First trade is my trade. It's not pin, but simple pullback to EMA. SL6 TP10 and done for the day.

Well, I guess CTs do not work well for me at times, am gonna focus on pinbars on pullbacks from here on. Or I need more downtime with CT pinbars, well I don't know. I'll look for all sorts of pinbars like usual.

I guess when it comes to CT, things get a little below high probability, especially when we have lots of CT pinbars retracing to the middle band (or reaching targets at double their sizes with stops placed below or above them).

A good setup (IMO) in EUR/JPY 15 min. chart. Unfortunately I missed it. I was looking only to 5 min. charts.

Another one in EURJPY 5 min chart: CT Pinbar + divergence: +17 pips. Quick and easy.

Interesting comment Lukazmiami. I going to put more attention from now on to the exotic pairs and watch before what is doing the Euro.

You know, i finally learned that "less is more". It is much better to trade only one pair if you are amateur day trader- like me. Why? Because it is much easier to get to know ths pair. You just know what to expect. It is impossible to know nature of every pair IHMO. And last bu not least, you have min. one setup everyday on EUR/USD. So where is the point in tracking 5 or 10 pairs? Propably it will end up with missing some good trades... Im not pro, but im in this business more than 4 years. You can see my posts from other threads- i tried a lot of things. And this is my motto after years of failures : "less is more" and "keep it simple stupid". Just stick to one pair and one setup which works. i finlly found that pullback with trend is the best setup for me, and i finally ended few months with profit after years of losing.


I think that the best thing to do is to read all Ryanmcd's posts. This guy is just incredible, i learneda lot...

Sooooooo, lets make some mone. But! Tomorrow! I prefer first 3 hours of London or NY session, never both. Every country want something else for thier currency, it is wise to close all trades before new market open. Sometimes it is easy to see that trend changes ater NY or LO open

A very good setup (IMO) in EURUSD, 5 min chart, at the very beginning of the London sesión. Very few pips (+5 pips) but the risk was also very low.

This one is SEXY! I missed it because i was asleep....

Small pin, but market i rather slow, and all bars are small, so it's good. And trend trade ofcourse.

You don't need indicators to spot setups like this one. Pin is perfectly on the end of pullback.

A really good setup Lukazmiami. It would be even better if the pinbar was below the 21EMA , but the 50 SMA was above it and was resistance. But as I can see you don´t use bollinger bands, EMA, SMA. But anyway, a pinbar with the trend

Another one in GBUSD, 5min chart. CT + divergence.

I closed it with +10pips. I didn´t wait for the bar to touch the 21EMA. (is countertrend and I have to be careful).
