Best Chart Website

Which website can I use to look at good charts without having to download something or sign-up. My work place computer wont allow me to see Forex.com's chart b/c of the new Java and when I signed up with Oanda, there chart sucks or at least i dont know how to use it.

NO you are right their charts suck. Good broker though IMO. I would recommend Mettrader but you would need to download something and if that is restricted then scatch that. You might be out of luck otherwise because nearly all free charts are java related. Check outhttp://www.dailyfx.com/charts/ and try out the different charts there. I fnot sure what your time zone is or the ammount of time you have available t work yet take this into consideration because this might affect your trading style. For instance if you have litle time to look at and stay glued to the charts, then scalpign is sort of out of the question because it requires some vigilent undivided attention. Anyways, good luck on finding some good free charts to use. Keep in mind that using different chaets then the broker you use can be problematic because your broker and the chart you are using can often have different variations in price, so price is not always the same on the free chart as your broker.

I had to go to elitetrader to get the name of this site, i'd forgotten it.

Go to netdania, click on chartstation on the left side menu, scroll down and click on try demo. You'll see a window with 4 small charts in it. There's a thumbtack icon at the bottom left of the window, click it to detach the window, then maximize. After that you could for example maximize the eur/usd chart, then click on chart type at the top left of the window and switch it to candlesticks, makes it easier to see. You can customize your chart however you like it, then click file and at the top left of that window and save it as one of your chart layouts.

When it comes to oanda's charts you've got to customize them because the default settings suck. Switch the charts to candlesticks, then click on one of the sticks and get the colors changed to green and red. From there play around with the settings and save it when you get em the way you like. I thought the charts sucked too when I first got oanda, after I fixed up the chart a little it was fine.

I not sure I,m posting in the right spot, but where can I go to find the price that the market will open at, There is a price differential between Friday close and Sunday open, can anyone tell me where i can find this information???

That is due to the trading Gap from weekend trading. You can check this from Mt4 and or Google this and you will find places.

I agree with Ambrodel, Tradingview.com charts are simple, interactive and very intuitive. I use Myforexchart.com for scanning the market quickly, but I think they just use the Trading View chart widget.
