It appears we have about 15 people that have already responded. I am really surprised so i think this idea is a go. I suppose we should try to pick a time and location that is convient for the majority. It might also be a good idea for members to post there level of experience and expectaions of the group. Maybe by then the tread sponsor will be back and have a direction for this group.

We have a yahoo group and a chat room created for the group so far.

If anybody else is interested send me a PM and I will reply with the details.

We have quite a few trading and financial type groups in the DFW area. I help out with the Association fo Technical Analysis here in Addison. We are trying to work with other groups in the area for like minded interests.

I would be happy to organize and schedule meetings if people are interested.

Would anyone be interested in getting together at BJ's Brewery in Addison Texas this Friday? They have a patio that is nice.

You're fine, it's actually a restuarant (with some good pizza). I would like to be there myself. Send out some information on the mailing group.

Thanks for taking the initiative to seek out others in the DFW area that are interested in the Currency markets. I speculate primarily in the FX and Futures markets using long/short positions and derivatives. I work at this full-time out of a home office, so I would welcome the interaction of other like-minded individuals. I live South of Northwest Highway in Dallas.
