Hello Fti and Guys .
How is everybody ?
I have a question to FTI . Many times i find myself fighting my own scorpions. Some times with succsess sometimes without . This mean that after i fight in the end i try to think how differently i could execute the fight . And many times i think what stupid mistakes i do .
May be you have some advice or some mental or fisical exercises that you can recomand in order to learn to deal with scorpions
Regards
Michael

Admit your bias to yourself. Problem is that you are likely to see what you want to see when you are strongly biased. Important part is to admit it to yourself that you are not 100% neutral.

Would love to hear more from people who wiped out their account (demo or live) and what you thought went wrong - in the hopes to avoid it myself.

It is all in the thread.. several people have, including myself. Long time ago, tho.

{quote}Well said tubguy! What's the answer to when to flip, exit or rescue? Silly question! You should know what you are going to do if the market moves against you, before you enter the trade. Doesn't it depend on the terrain you are trading in? Your MM? etc? Understanding these things (the trading stuff that fti has been talking about for thousands of posts) is the only way to think about the risks of your trade. You guys are talking like there is only one right approach, and that is silly. And, given the heavy manipulation in the markets today,...

Thanks GEfx. Wise words you speak as well.
I believe one of the most important things Fti mentioned is market microstructure too. It seems the more I learn abou it, the better I trade.

That is very troubling to watch sir. Some of those things are common practice for centuries. Most is just evil treatment of animals. I would like to spend some time kicking the as of a few of those that were shown in that video.

I love animals, but understand that we eat them. We could at least kill them with some regard for their life.

People like that give me little hope for our future here. No wonder god destroys us.

Gauging the market - listening to what your scout is telling you, not telling it what you think.

It can be hard I know. I had a troup of very rude scouts when I first started. They used to swear at me and ask me what I thought I was doing, dropping them into danger zones and letting them get slaughtered

EDIT: Maybe try a smaller scout if you are getting too emotinally involved?

Like the analogy there. I swore at myself asking why would I put my scout in death battles. Had no idea at the time why it seemed I always sent them in against the tide. Things get clearer each day now.

I advise all that read here and are new.....read and learn about market micro structure as Fti has suggested. Or face many death battles.

some scouts do come back without their heads intact. That is the life of a scout, it lets you get a feel of your enemy's stance.

don't fight the wave, you'll never be capitalised enough to do it.

Here is a link that was posted by Seneca Pilot. I believe it is similar to the book Fti recommended called "Trading & Exchanges"

http://www.forexfactory.com/attachme...mentid=1137822

Also read the thread deeply and think about Pi and how it relates to all things in nature including human behaviour on the charts.

I will admit that all of this has just started to come together and make sense to me recently. It is my opinion that it is almost impossible to teach.
Hence what makes it hard to see whats in the thread.

It's a bit like being a mechanic. You can only fix an engine when you know how it works and what makes it tick. Same with the markets.

I don't mean to be vague, just don't know how to explain it really.
