No I think it is not less popular in next some years it will be more popular all over the world. Till now many people are not aware of forex . Wen they know this business they will certainly join it. FOrex will be more popular day by day. Because it is very facilitating by using time and investment.

So you already are trading for leaving I see. I am extremely passionate, if passion was a commodity I'd be stinky rich mate!
Passion is actually what triggers my anxiety and hence I end up like Forest Gump with and idle look and empty pockets (see pic)

I haven't given up, but I couldn't find a system I can follow and make money. They all have holes, they all break....

I always find amusing here and EVery where, where GURUs post their systems and then when you follow it and post back your huge loses they will come up with new rules and/or explain that actually the moon did NOT align with MARS and hence you shouldn't have traded EJ/AUD that day! screw you all!
I mean Gurus are gurus and i respect them, but Maradona is the best soccer player that ever existed and no matter what, he cannot teach it to others, it's his talent.
This 5% of bastards are talented people and I bow to them....

I've seen people say this but this has not been my experience when the subject of forex has come up with friends/ex work colleagues etc. In fact around the time of my baptism into the world of forex in 2004, I was lunching with a couple of friends that I used to work with. They were both partners in the commercial department of a law firm. They knew exactly what it was. They were a little surprised that I was dabbling with it. They both reiterated to "be careful", "it's dangerous" and one of them even said "you do realise that it is gambling don't you". A couple of hours later a friend of theirs joined us. He turned out to be a Risk Manager at a major Australasian bank. Obviously he knew what it was. He also said to be careful and that it was a hard way to make money. A few hours and a few bars later we bumped into another friend. He worked at the RBNZ. More warnings ensued with him also saying that it was a hard way to make money.

Looking back on that day, I should have been under no illusions that I was getting into something that was probably over my head given the fact that I am nowhere near their level of intellect.

So I wish anyone who is new to this game the very best of luck.

trader see's every trade as expenditure until the return is realized(And also mind you I mean keep in mind that
In our beautiful world which and that is forex we only need to be right 35 percent of the time to make profit if utilizing
a 3:1 RR)

You put your 10,000 hours in.... You're an Outlier.....Don't you get it?

10.000 hours is ridiculous. If you studied the markets 2 hours a day that would amount to 13 years.

Indeed Myo I agree which is why this model of 10,000 hours is just a template
and a elaborate attempt to describe the enigma of the beautiful world that the
forex market is and can mean literally or not that all this time is necessary the
point is there are some that it will take exactly that long to finally make it click
or some may study it that long and never quite get it and what I mean about
get it is consistent profit...That's how vague mysterious and ethereal the forex
world can be and seem to most hence most fail and run and cower after the
market hands them their own fanny's after the first couple of tries

You see Myo this trade skill which is learning how to trade the hardest biggest
roughest and toughest market in the world involves deep thinking and vast
intellect or a curious type has to be able to at least entertain for just long enough

like thinking for themselves or using their brain outside of school so to ask a lot of
people to think about complicated issues in so called leisure time is the reason I believe

No I did not see any sign of less popularity about forex. It is now introducing in those places where people are not aware of forexThis business is spreading day by day ,it capture a large community asits members. FOrex is the business of next generation .

It's of public notoriety that only 5% of those real traders make money and I think that here in FF, is even worse, maybe only 1% or even less and with great difficulty.

There are so many self proclaimed profitable systems here developed by those 10+V gurus, but almost no one shows a live explorer on a live account attached to them or their profile and this just tell all the truth.

I see it is becoming more popular . Who said forex is less popular . In developing countries its market is growing day by day . Forex will be a business of every person in near future as people will know and get benefits from this business.

No way.. Not after 5 year or any long time... I found Forex profitable. All the thing is you have to do it professionally with proper management.
If followed it properly either I would also say so... I already withdrawn my invested money and trading with gains only.. SO at least until loss of gains I wouldn't regret of hearing the word "fx trading" and seem it is not possible.

I believe Forex will become more and more popular over time. Peaks and valleys along the way, of course.

Concerning profitability, anyone can make money in FX, for some limited amount of time that is. No special skills required. Keeping that money long term, on the other hand, is a different thing altogether. The ability to keep money earned (and repeat the process which generated it) is what separates traders from the rest. There are people here on FF showing stellar results, incredible gain%. Gains are proportional to risk. Therefore, such people are very likely to fill the ranks of the 95% rather sooner than later. Rarely do the 5% (1% or whatever) make stellar gain%. A trader will keep drawdown% in check, first and foremost. A trader buys time, enough time to assure presence in the market when it decides being generous. That said, success takes time. No wonder so few make it. We are hardwired to seek instant-gratification, to be inpatient by nature.

No not at all, NO REGRETS, as many I learned the tough way after blowing up my first accounts. Nor do I have any shame in admitting that.

This is not a casino or a black jack table where if you get lucky you can make a few grand in a few minutes, YES, that does happen, however, if it
is through luck and without any study technical, fundamental, or news related, you can BET your a$$ those winnings will disappear just as soon as they
came, just like doubling down @ the black jack table.

Luckily, I started trading and charting physical Gold and Silver before I ever made my first "pip." So I wasn't exactly a noob to trading, techs or fundies,
the computer just makes it faster, easier and adds the deadliest of all LEVERAGE!

I can no longer trade FX with 100:1 leverage after Dodd Frank and obviously because I am in the US. I think this is the only country that did away with 100:1

I personally don't care and prefer 50:1 leverage. I also would suggest to any newbies who think they are going to get rich quick scalping FX to trade starting with 25:1 leverage. Many banks only trade with a max of 25:1 leverage. 100:1 is a bit hectic, anything over is just suicide to the inexperienced trader.

This is a business, your own personal business, so efficiency, consistency and repetition of what is successful are PARAMOUNT. After one can identify and repeat those tools, then you may look at the $$$$$$$ signs.

Also, FOREX is still gaining popularity, it is essential to Global trade and will not go anywhere. If anything those trading now have a better chance of not getting ripped of by a shady broker than 10 years prior.

Just my very honest input.

I'd say the forex approach is why people don't stick around. Forex in no way is meant to be invested. How could one invest in any currency, when the unexpected lurks at the start of every new 1m candle. Guys are turning 600% profit in only 1 week. I have never seen anyone turn 600% profit over years!

I actually just happened, when I heard of this type of online business I was afraid it was a hoax, why not reliable and always seemed to me that I saw information thought making money online was impossible, after two years look with more I care information came from forex and investigate the issue a little more, now I find interesting and have taken some classes with someone who knows the subject and I advise me on some techniques and strategies that could be used in the forex trading now I'm practicing on a demo account and sometimes I lose or win all depends on the analysis and I pay attention to the tools of negotiation.
