Hi Dadas

Yes, I realised I was going short against the longer term up trend. That is why I was only going for 10 pips or so. I have a 21" screen but spread it out so you could see the candles clearly. I only get to trade after 10am USA time and during the asian session so alot of the time the big moves are done for the day. At these times there are typically counter trend trades available. I'll try and take a trade with the trend next time.

On a weekly chart which PTECZ would you choose as the more important levels vs current price? I'm just trying to get a feel for which historical weekly levels to use. I think in this case you would use weekly levels 1 and 3. With level 3 being the start of the local down trend. Feedback appreciated.

Sorry Guys, but I really do not understand how such an easy thing can get so hard???

You know what the PTECZ is.
Just plot the one that best fits the current S or R and the Potential opposite one!

How is that difficult?

Stop having ideas and just Do It!

Hello Dadas,

Just wanted to support your statement by posting my recent GOLD 1H trades. I admit I did not place the 1st three long trades on any reasonable PA, just S/R area and a previous daily support from 15 and 16 Apr(seen in a daily chart). The short trades I placed this morning just before going to work...reason for opening was the obvious low risk at the top of the formed daily resistance area.
Trading PA is discretionary, but it develops independent thinking. Trading using indicators is not that different -- it requires ability to follow strict rules, no place for thinking, and no hoping at all.

However, I must comment, that if there is no TP and no SL,
that is a Damn foolish way to Trade GOLD.
Look how much Price went Down on your Long Entries!
When you had no idea that the Price would go Up!

You got lucky, especially if you went to work not having control of the Action.

I know, the End Result is what counts.

But, you could have been "Woken Up" with another Broke account!

No, that is not what I teach, here!

That is not what I tell you.

That is gambling, not conscious Trading!

For Windows7 users!

3 people have confirmed that following these steps
works for the PTECZ_Trader on Windows7:
1. Click on the attachment icon on your email,
2. Save attachment directly to .../MetaTrader 4/experts/indicators,
3. Run your MT4 platform.

Downloading or saving to another folder and then
copying or drag&dropping seems to not work!

On the other hand, it works for others, see below!

Hi Dadas,

Thanks for sending me the indicator yesterday. Just going through your posts again to gain a better understanding.
I have just read your recent post about Windows 7, I had saved your email attachment to a folder on my computer and copied to my Mt4 platform as with any indicator with no problems at all. It may be a simple case of some folders not being set up with the right system/administrators permissions to copy or move files, which can be easily changed under the folder properties/security tab.
Thanks again for all your work and following along with interest.

thanks for the copy ..
mine can work with saving to another folder, then copy to .../experts/indicators. or, try to re-install MT4 to clean up indi that you've added before, then just follow the user manual.
need a time for me to set parameter that suit for me.

Hello, today's profit-reflection of PTECZ H4 entrance M1, first and second input closed hand, parties to implement TP ran 1.5 pips and closed at SL, the fourth entry-on support from PTECZ H1 but I was not sure so I closed hand: (.
