Am i the only person who believes 20%-50% per quarter (months at least is a realistic goal)
and why do so many traders on here say its not i know a few of individuals who are doing this and some are even achieving 35% + a month could someone explain preferably someone who's actually a successful trader if that exists on here?

Yeah I also know a few traders. They have good experience and/ or good method to trade the market. Normally they don't like to disclose anything.

Nothing is impossible. But when it comes to investments you have to bear high risk in order to go for high returns.

My advice to you is don't be greedy and try to be consistent with an achievable return. Then you can go for your goals.

The title is a tad misleading..lol
Moving on, the naysayers are probably new and have little or no experience..but yes, you can actually make more than 50% but it all comes down to your skill.
I do know of a few traders who keep getting it right almost every time..and they did not get there overnight, it took a lot of time, effort, determination and discipline to get there.

With an account of 384GBP you are loosing 30GBP and 20GBP in one of the first trades. I dont want to critize your system, but risking 5-8% in a single trade seems to me a little high.

Despite this I think gains like this are possible.

i dont risk 5-8% every trade and my risk is not high as fix an amount that im going to trade at then adjust it when i double the account , so in reality theres times im risking 0.5% but once i get a drawdown and my amount reduced and has hit my lower target i adjust risk again its works for my strategy as i at times receive a risk to reward ratio of 1:5 or 1:8 read this blog it will make more sense disregard its from nia fuller the scam but that article makes sense http://www.learntotradethemarket.com...truths-article

I don't get it. If you are making returns of 300% in a matter of months why are you asking about courses taught by Nial Fuller and other forex gurus? Don't you think you should be teaching them your mathematical strategy?

Bro, if you are making 300%+ returns in a few months, it should be you teaching the masses .... lmao. Just keep refining/adapting the strategy you already have. There was a bloke on here that said he doubled his account most weeks. He's teaching courses now starting from a mere £5,000. Throw that £300 account away. You are wasting your precious talent.

Actually quite the opposite. You should keep that kind of action to yourself.

$ vs % though.

To do the transaction must be combined with the capacity of three aspects of fundamental technology and psychology, the psychological factors are the most important, more than 90% of the investors are unable to hold oneself in! Break a leg

The answer is pretty simple: 99.6% of people lose money in FOREX.

And posts like these are USUALLY not made by people who actually make money LONG TERM, but rather by any of the following:

_PAID employees of the same BROKERS

_People who are trying to get PMs from naive newbies asking them for their SYSTEM and such.

_People who had a few good months BETTING in their mini accounts, and think that they can LIVE off this, and are all enthusiastic, going to the forums to expose their unreal sentiment about it...

In a Betting Based Business, any short term strategy will work, even on CASINOS and in Roulette SHORT TERM, a MARTINGALE system will work... LONG TERM nothing will work. Absolutely nothing, unless you have INSIDE Info, like GOLDMAN SACHS, PIMCO or whatever of those Trillion Dollar funds managers have. Those guys are part of 0.4% of people who make money in this business. 99.6% of people LOSE money.

And this is a ZERO-SUM business, so, 0.4% of people take the money that 99.6% of people lose.

Come back in 3 years and tell me if you were able to survive in RETAIL FOREX, I can bet you anything you want, you will not make a living off it, during the next 3 years in a row. Forget it, 2 years... Come back in 2 years... No no.. FORGET IT, come back in 1 YEAR... I will bet you anything, if you can do a living for the next year, trading exclusively RETAIL FOREX. Period.

i semi agree with you but only time can tell how i will do in this market so we got to wait and see and this time next year il send you balance. i doubt id be whipped out but who knows only time can tell. but i highly doubt it because the strategy im using i has been used since 2006 so it defiantely has a longterm edge.

and how much do you want to bet? £200? i will bet you £200 i will still be in business

I will bet you anything you want.

But, I'm talking about making a living off RETAIL FOREX... Not "surviving", with a micro account and finishing with 500 bucks in your account after 1 year of trading.

I will bet you U$ 10K, that you cannot make a living off RETAIL FOREX, during the next 12 months. I can even put a very low entry level, let's understand 3K per month as making a living. This is actually very very low barrier.

In FACT, I will bet anyone in this FORUM, that they cannot make a living off ONLINE RETAIL forex, every single month, for the next 12 months, trading exclusively RETAIL FOREX from your home, using MT4 and the so called "indicators", trading on your own.

If anyone accepts, send me PM to to start the deal formally. I doubt anyone will accept.

My most failure are because I am unable to control my emotions at time specially when I try to trade the news and use high lot. I am trying to control but the success factor is not allowing me to control myself because I have gained good profits on news trading also.
