I just checked on my Trading Station, and the 4 hour charts for GBP/AUD go back 10 years. Are you on the MT4 platform? If so, please let me know which server you are logging into, and I will see if we can get more historical price data added for you.

Your forum profile mentions that you live in Thailand, so I assume that's where your permanent resident is. Please send me a private message with your contact details, and I can provide you with instructions on how to set up your account with one of our other entities. In regards to the spreads on Ninja Trader, they would be the same as on our other platforms. You can choose Standard Spreads (No Dealing Desk forex execution) or Lower Spreads (dealing desk) as shown below.

If you deposit at least 25k or trade 10M per month in notional volume, then you can qualify for Active Trader pricing.

3. So your mt4 n ts have difference price feed? are they from difference liquidity provider

Thank you for the reply. Thailand was last year ... now it is Chile - at least for a year or two.
I'm not able to open your active trader link ... just being redirected to FXCMChile. I will try later with another ip address.

Update.
OK, just had a look ... probably the best deal I have seen so far with NT. Is there any chance I can test your price feed ... a few days would be sufficient ?

The requirements to get NinjaTrader for free are the same as in the US: deposit $5000 and trade 500k per month.

Hi Agshue,

There seems to be some confusion here. Demo and live accounts use the same price feed. As I mentioned in my earlier post, I will need some additional details in order to investigate this further for you. You mentioned that you will send me a screenshot. Please send it to [email protected]. Also, please include your demo login details and your live account number, so I can see if there are any differences in the settings. For example, one account might be set up on Standard Spreads (No Dealing Desk forex execution), while the other account might be set up on Lower Spreads (dealing desk execution).

Holiday Trading Hours for May

Below are the holiday trading hours for CFDs in May. Forex trading hours are as normal.

I've been using FXCM since I started and I'm happy with them overall. I trade micro ($0.10/pip) and I wish they would offer nano lots, especially with a $50 account minimum. My only other complaint is the spread, every now and then they have a major spike in it, the other day i went to so a EUR/USD trade and the spread was 7.5
but usually its between 2-3 on majors and around 4-5 on crosses. I opened a demo on Oanda because they offer nano lots but I really dont care for their trading platform. I'm really comfortable with MS 2.0 but i may grab MT4 and mess with it a bit to see if I like it.
mt4 demo price feed is frozen for the last 30 min (usddemo01). I am using ts2 and its ok over there. is this a demo issue or real mt4 have these problems also?

Was thinking to switch over mt4 and this is an important issue..

Hi Iwontsmoke,

I apologize for the tech issue you encountered. That said, it only occurs on demo. We've had so many people sign up for MT4 demos with us on that server that we've had to add another USD demo server for new users. Try registering for another free demo on the new server. On the FXCM MT4 platform, go to "File > Open an Account". In the window that pops up, fill out your details on the first screen and hit the Next button. Then make sure you select "FXCM-USDDemo02" as your server as shown below. If you don't see "FXCM-USDDemo02" in the list of available servers, then reinstall MT4 from our website.

In fact, I notice that your forum profile says you live in the UK. You might be interested to know that we offer GBP-denominated spread betting accounts on our MT4 platform which would give you special tax-free status in the UK. As always, it's important to note that when trading forex or CFDs, your capital is at risk.

Heads up! At 5pm New York time today, there will be quintuple rollover on JPY pairs due to the Golden Week holidays. That means you will earn or pay 5 days worth of rollover interest for any JPY trades that are still open at the stroke of 5pm.

You can use the DailyFX Rollover Calendar to keep up to date on when holidays will affect the rollover schedule.
