What is used to filter out bad trades is the 200EMA and that is what I use. I am still testing out the 50EMA and so far, it is perfect for the 4H time frame.

quite impressive strategy. but can you tell me what is the role of EMA 200. When all indicator give signals price go far above 200 EMA ? If the price is too low from 200 EMA and there is reversal from there ? will not give maximum result?

I noticed that you took a 2 year break from posting to this thread. Why is that? And have you updated the PDF manuals from the first page with your new indicator?

This system is similar to Ashfx's except for the 200EMA filter.....Great work Ochuko...guy u too much! Looking forward to test it... Peace!

Hi Ochuko,

Great strategy. I just found it last Friday and have been back testing it. It seems best to avoid signals when the price is retracing back to the 200 the first time (as the EJ seems to be doing now). Bit of a learning curve too on when the Psar showing weakness and best to pass on the trade. Overall though it can catch the nice moves.

Is there a Psar stoploss EA that moves your stop up for you? This is crucial to minimize losses. BTW I'm testing the BJF Psar but can't get it to work.

Forward testing this week and I'll see if I can post some trades.

You made a good observation. Usually, I dont trade against the 200EMA. so when price is retracing back there, I trend to pass such trade and watch.

Actually I meant the trades with the 200. See below where the buy signal comes in but the price wants to come back to the 200.

I'm watching the AU right now.

On this particular trade, I got in quick before the close of the candle.
Reason: Price broke the 200EMA just as other parameter were falling in place.
Multiple reasons to sell did not wait till the end of the candle.
