Been there and done that brother. Expensive lesson and lead to 3 of my 9 losses.

If your broker lets you set up multiple accounts on the same pair (as mine does) I made one screen black and the other white to avoid the mistake

EUR/USD order update

EUR/USD Intraday order update 19 April

Following the Schaeuble induced pop, stops are being noted now at 1.0365/75 area. We’ve got to 1.3071 on the way down so one would assume there’s some bids ahead of the stops. We also have the 55 H1ma at 1.3067 an we still can’t sustain a break of the 100 & 200 H1 ma in the 1.0380/85 region.

Scheauble spike fades as risk sours

 

  1. Earlier comments by FinMin Schaeuble see stops run up to 1.3118
  2. Mkt takes a second look at all comments & decide Schaeuble's a wash
  3. Sour risk sentiment takes over & USD goes bid
  4. EUR/USD back under the 200 HMA & threatens 10 DMA
  5. Bear flag developing on hourly charts, typically these resolve lower
  6. Stops ~ 1.3065/70, bids touted 1.300/15. larger stops through 1.2990
  7. Break of 1.30 opens door to 200 DMA & April 5 low

Very interesting. Thank you for posting the previous two news posts, much appreciated. Looks like its a down day ahead for EU once US markets open at 9:30 est

Chop feast continues as Weidman runs his mouth

 

  1. Headline algos get a work out today as EUR/USD remains whippy intra-day
  2. ECB's Weidmann: rates appropriate, if data changes will need to check again
  3. EUR/USD spikes to new session high 1.3121 but runs into offers
  4. Stops reported just above the highs then offers 1.3140 & above
  5. With no conviction in the mkt whippy action likely to persist

All,

I see a lot of you are confused as to what is going on and that it is hard to enter and exit the market. I beg to differ and if you paid attention to Mine and Euro traders previous posts about money management you will understand why it is easy for us.

I have made 65 pips on one trade put on last night (1.3051)
and today I am up 60 pips on another long trade (1.3060) for eu. This equates for 125 pips 2 trades. Set it and forget it. Below is advice for some of you who are confused. I have a total of 700+ pips in 2 weeks only. Maybe 5 trades total.

Just analyze and go with the flow .... This is the hardest thing to master and it took me almost 3.5 years.

Remember market is trending whether you don't see it or not, in different TF's the market does different things. Look, Watch, Execute.

Uptrend, buy dips (not your predefined support areas)

Down trends, Sell rallies (not your predefined support areas)

I stopped predetermining where I was going to say what is support or resistance or what is not support or resistance.

You need to be able to catch the support/resistance areas at current price movements and analyze what the market is doing at that time. Remember do this by entering the trade whether you are entering in a trend or range. Dont sell uptrend and dont buy downtrends. (Big dogs do this only because they can afford to, you and I can not)

You predefine these areas way ahead of time and you are playing a gamble.

Trust me, you can learn to stop gambling in the market.
