it is dancing on support (Monthly R1), and on my nerves!

Set up SL at 3073.

Looks like my timing was off a bit as it tested it 2 more times

consolidating? is it going to below 1.3040....US session is so slow!

I would not necessarily call it consolidating I would consider it lack of liquidity right now. Been a lot of moves this and last week. Maybe just tired.

That being said I nabbed about 50 pips on the peak today on a short.

I am now long at 1.3051 Small sl as I dont trust 100 % but it is better to buy on dips (uptrend), sell Rallies (downtrend). I think my sell earlier today was a hell of a lot riskier than my new entry to buy the market at 1.3051.

Ok I am almost ready for some more Cafe.. maybe in a couple more hours then off to some scuba diving after tomorrows FX Session.

Buddy I wish I could tell you I am hoping for a push above 1.31 and that acting as support. In the interim I still remain bullish. I will do more COT analasys for everyone this weekend.

A dangerous bearish engulfing pattern for EurUsd yesterday. The Bundesbank has confirmed the cut on Ecb rates and this is not to be underestimated. 1.229 will be crucial for the uptrend of the Euro.

How nice. I come back from an IT meeting and I see Ms Market greeting me at the door with +26 (risky short at that time @75) pips and growing (by the looks of the 5&15 SMA both 10M & 30M).

What a woman. Glad I didnt kick her to the curb with a SL when the price went to 309x.

Bear Flag forming

 

1. Risk soured in NY afternoon (More)
2. Bears encouraged by failure to hold 10 DMA & consolidation at recent lows
3. Short-term charts show a bear flag forming as well
4. Bear flags typically resolve in the direction from which they entered
5. Completion of pattern suggests test of 200 DMA & beyond is on the cards

EU Tech Trader

A megaphone pattern is doing serious damage both to trend and tight range traders here. We've adjusted our offer closer to the last two day's highs and the upper 21-day Bolli band to avoid the middle of this expanding, yet non-trending, range on the daily charts.

omg i just noted that my dealer is hunting big at this hour (it's 00:08AM here), the spread went to 4 pips (from 0.9 before 0AM) and from 15 pips profit my trade went to -1 pip and then back to 15pips profit... is this the correct PA or is it just my broker playing games here?

USD Techs holding below 50 Day MA

 

1. Wednesday saw sharp reversal ahead of the 50% fib - bears front running
2. Further bearish evidence - price subsequently seen holding below 50 DMA
3. Next support level to be tested is the 200 day MA at 1.293
4. Holding below 1.293 would open up new lows below April 4's low
5. Likely new lows are coming - get short with stop at 1.316
