Just last week I had a seminar about COT and SSI (Speculative Sentiment Index) in an Estonian investment bank. The speaker itself favoured DailyFX's Jamie Saettele charts.

Here is the second selection of COT charts by Jamie Saettele

I trade eur/used during Asian session so there's no fundamentals news to upset the moving average on 1 hour charts.

ET JD I agree It's a walk, Qatari got lucky and pushed his luck to the maximum (i guess his angel is sitting on his shoulder), crazy stuff he did there and hopefully he is realizing that luck is with you only for a moment.

Since i asked you about the leverage and i see that leverage is broadly discussed (and I'm newbie and i cannot translate exactly the info on leverage so I can fully understand it) isn't it the same to Buy 0,01 Lots @ 1:200 Leverage as 0,02 Lots @ 1:100 as 0,04 Lots @ 1:50 Lev ? If I'm wrong please clarify ... anyone. Thank you.

PS: All of you guys that answered my posts, or answered my PM's and helped me understand the MKT better I didn't posted "THANK YOU", just so I don't fill the thread and your inbox with too many posts. So here it is THANK YOU ALL!
Mind you, my first name is Bad. ..."Nunc Id Vides, Nunc Ne Vides"...

It's the same with all levs. 0.01lot with 1:200, 1:100, 1:50 . The contract size is still the same. Only difference is how much money You invest in it.

0,01lot with 1:200 is 5€ your own investment. Contract size still 1000 (€) . 1000 / 200(lev) = 5€
0,01lot with 1:100 is 10€ your own investment. Contract size still 1000 (€). 1000 / 100(lev) = 10€
0,01lot with 1:50 is 20€ your own investment. Contract size still 1000 (€). 1000 / 50(lev) = 20€

1Pip with all of those lev 0,01lot = 0,10cents $ = ~0,078€

Hope this helps you understand a bit better

Guys & Gals We had good friendships here & had good trades too But in last two weeks I had lost my trust to FF, Twee & his desecions. I had asked him 3 questions but unfortunatelly can not get the answers. This tells me, I am wright about my thoughts. For me if an environment is not fair for all ( not only for me, REPEAT, FOR ALL ) then I can not stay there. It makes me sick & I mean that. The Rule is Simple : If something happens once it repeats. I tried to get the answers from Twee for a week, not posted & protested during the period. Now as...

Steve I may not understand this situation here, but to pack up and leave the forum because of one user is just pretty crazy to me.

Why don't you just block Twee whoever that is and move on with life?

Maybe someone else can explain his situation (if he really is gone and not coming back)

Anyway, if he is really gone, I'll do my best to keep this thread going (more activity)

Hi Rag2RichesFX

It is long story

I think that Steve is concern about equality of members here on this forum.

And I do think he is right on this.

Why some members can break FF rules and abuse other members and have no consequences beacuse of that.

When other members getting ban for less important reasons.

What is left to say its just math the purest principle, You get it and I get but I fear the rest of the E FX community does not get it to their own destruction. This type of flash in the pain gain is nothing to admire. I am done a fool and their money will go their separate ways....Time will tell if I am right or full of sh*t

AMEN. Take the money and run. I truly hopes he continues on his winning ways. However the odds are greatly against him unfortunately.

We have all seen traders who boast of great gains riding a trend only to be crushed when the tide turns. Their longevity is that of a spring flower.

HOLY....

Something major is about to happen very soon.

If equities finally crash while Japan is printing.... LOOK OUT BELOW YEN. USDJPY to 120 in very short order. Why? Because USD will be the only safe haven (yen is no longer a safe haven so it wont rally more than USD rallies like we seen in the past during risk-off)

EUR/USD Stalls Climb Around 38% Retracement Level

EUR/USD (daily chart) as of April 12, 2013 has stalled its climb of the past week around the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level of the two-month bearish trend from early February to early April. This bullish correction reached a high yesterday around the 1.3138 level before stalling its climb. Not only is this price resistance area around the key 38.2% Fibonacci level, it is also in the region of the 50-day moving average.
Having bumped up against this tentative resistance, EUR/USD may be exhausting its rally. A breakdown below the key 1.3000 level would provide some confirmation of this exhaustion, and an indication that price could be looking towards a resumption of the bearish bias that has been in place since the beginning of February. In this event, a key downside objective remains around the 1.2650 level. A breakout above yesterday’s high could extend the current bullish correction towards 1.3300 resistance.
