EURUSD breaks up through 1.3100

High so far 1.3107 chewing through the sell orders at 1.3100 that I mentioned earlier. more selling interest at 1.3125 and larger between 1.3140-50

Yep...well I am waiting for a turn on usdcad and nzdusd to see were the top is going to be...for the euro

I have an existing long @1.3131 waiting for Ms Market to put it in the money (ITM)

Eur/usd prepares for bad news on usd after 1h . That move up might be early news leak. I'm out of long +50 pips and short on usdcad that's +40 pips so far.

Bad news is my yesterday's views and thoughts are now wiped since the pair broke over 1.312 and is expected to climb further. I was expecting resistance @ 1.312 and drop to 1.30 .As it is right now I'll stay flat and check if 1.3113 becomes support. Last nights entry was estimated as bad cuz I could've wait for the pair to reach monthly resistance ( that turned to support) and buy there which will lead me to +30-40 pips. However +50 still has + sign in front and that's what counts for now. When I become more experienced I'll look for maximized profit.

  1. EUR strength certainly not the main driver this week
  2. Pair up behind AUD, NZD, CAD, GBP demand and USD weakness
  3. Key tech resistance since tested, but attracting plenty of spec sellers
  4. Pull backs remain shallow however. 1.3100-25 Expiries could yet draw

Thanks man, I don't see any reason to close positions yet. Locking in profit is always the smart way to go because it is free ride from there.
FOMC Data was leaked to key polotical members which can move the market and looks like they are making the way down the yellow brick road.

I am not sure how much higher than 1.32 either, maybe it will act as a distribution point or maybe it will remain bull above it. No sure way to tell.

Alternative scenario: The downside breakout of 1.3055 will open the way to 1.303 & 1.2995.

That may happen but do not get greedy and lose what you have. I have almost closed out up here from my 1.27xx buys. I have very little left and waiting until I see what I think is a top. It looks like we are going to set a top in this week or next for a move down...but I have been known to be wrong before...

FLAT 1.3080

Pushed through previous 1.3122 highs to test above the upper Bollinger. Yesterday spot broke a key fibo level although closed back below the line. Stick with the buy dips strategy for now as we do not rule out a run towards the 50% fibo of the Jan/Apr slide in the 1.3200s. Keep stops tight. (AH)
