A small mistake made me miss 50 pips or more, I've setup Sell limit @ Weekly resistance but since I'm away from my PC, I've misread Weekly R1 as 1.3131 instead of 1.3113 ... I'm long now from 1.30635 .... still entering micro lots to gain confidence.

And thank you all for sharing your thoughts and views here. As of mine I still read bulls, with predicted retrace today. Tomorrow should get rejected from same level again 1.3113 (moved to 1.312x today), and back to 1.30ish(3-4), then Friday weekly R1 will be left behind. That's what I see and that's what I'm gonna trade.

PS: rockstar1234 I like what ET JD is doing cuz we don't have to go somewhere else and read some other webpage and then come back here again just to go to another page and read something else. He gather filter and deliver all the info on one place My girlfriend recently complained that she can't learn anything from google cuz she starts reading one thing, leading her to other, then third then guess what "oh that's interesting" and ends up reading about the love affair of Samantha Fox, when she really googled for "pure magnetic energy" for example

The reason I dont is because I got a ton of grief on another EUR thread (yea you guessed it) for posting news.

I was accused of being a marketeer for the companies I posted from another trader who used to post here.

NOTHING could be further from the truth. I have been a self employed software engineer & database administrator for over 13 years besides trading full time as I work from home.

I wish I was drawing an additional paycheck from these companies. I would put the money into my trading account and retire sooner.

So to prevent hearing you are plugging XYZ I dont give credit to anyone if I can help it.

That ended that accusation and I dont post any news on the bully EUR forum as it wasnt appreciated. The hater did everyone a disservice on that forum. He can give them news flashes but he hasnt posted anything since.

I even said no good deed goes unpunished. I do it as a service because many traders do not have good sources and FA is one of the pillars of trading. I am trying to help everyone as much as I can. Its good karma because what goes around comes around they say here in America.

Steve said it was OK to post news here and so did another moderator in a EUR forum. These two forums are the best for EUR in FF.

The other forum is a rough crowd but you will have that because class and respect isn't common place unfortunately

EUR dips on Moodys

 

  1. A short while ago Moody's lead Portugal analyst said banks need 8bln EUR more
  2. The amount stated is more than remains for the country's bailout program
  3. Market seems to be grabbing hold of the story now and EUR/USD is heavy
  4. Low of 1.3054 made & bounces slightly, Asian bids touted 1.3040/50
  5. Break of 1.3005 (apr 9 low) may have recent bulls begin exiting

EUR/USD keeps the lows around 1.3055/60

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The single currency is closing the session in red on Wednesday, hovering over intraday lows around 1.3055/60 in a context dominated by the risk aversion.

Looking into Thursday’s calendar, consumer prices in Germany and France will precede the ECB Monthly Report ahead of 3-year bond Italian auction. In the US economy, Imports/Exports Prices are due as well as the weekly report on the labour market.

At the moment EUR/USD is down 0.19% at 1.3057 with the next support at 1.3006 (low Apr.9) ahead of 1.2963 (low Apr.8) and finally 1.2928 (MA10d).
On the upside, a breach of 1.3135 (high Mar.8) would expose 1.3163 (high Feb.28) and then 1.3229 (50% of Feb-Apr slide)

Might have to wait to go short for that notorious 3:30 PM Dow & SP ramp.

However tt didnt ramp yesterday so I am waiting waiting waiting

The only sure thing in FX is the unsure...for sure..

I always watch the indos. Ms Market is an unpredictable woman.

Its hard to define a fixed pip take profit. It is like "I demand the market do this."

No dont get me wrong brothers I get the fixed SL bit as part of risk management. I used to do it until Ms Market did it to me over and over again. Then I tried another approach as some of you have read the MM Pyramid I sent out.

Its eaiser for me just to be a cork bobbling up and down on the sea of PA taking what I can get when I can get it.
