what you mean by "which best fits to all the factors!" im quite confuse here.. sorry if this is a silly question.. sorry dadas im loss again in this quest.. but i wont give up.. you are right in term of im looking for a fixed rules..

Hi Dadas,

please be kind to correct my chart, I think there is something wrong with the position of red diamonds. For me the diamonds are too far from candles. How to repair this? Maybe something wrong with my parameters?

This will work different depending on broker's quotations.
You are on 4-digit broker.

Change the: PTECZ_Candle_ArrowOffset to smaller value, ie. 5
Find which value fits best for your chart.

Thanks for testing Fxprimus platform. I think I have to delete the existing platform and download a new one. I will do it later.

Then, you must stop looking for fixed rules!

If there were fixed rules, it would be easy to write one universal programme (EA)
and it would always act by the fixed rules.

In Forex there is only 1 fixed rule: Balance = 0.

Other than that, there is not even any regulations for this Market!

It is a wild beast.

This is exactly what I mean.

Nothing less, nothing more!

If the price is in Consolidation, both directions are possible.

Find one above, find one below.

Find the ones which best fit the levels and the potential Daily Range.

And stop looking for rules, start looking at Candles and Price Action.

Hopefully, you will see this, some day!

I explained the Points and Pips issue earlier.

On the chart we have two values: Price and Time.

So, we can set Offset for Time and/or Price.

When plotting rectangles (Zone Candles), we use the Time Offset,
which is the number of Candles to the left or right, depending what we want.

When plotting Arrows (dots, diamonds, etc.) we use the Price Offset,
which is the number of Points from a defined Price (Candle Close, for example).

On 5-digit quotations the distance is 10 times the distance of 4-digit quotations.
Point on 4-digits is the 4th digit.
Point on 5-digits is the 5th digit.

That is why some indicators have the Offset parameter in the externs,
so you can adjust where you see the indication.

Using tools, any tools, requires the knowledge of how to use them.

The MT4 tools are not "User Friendly".

They require a bit more than minimum knowledge from the user.

Dadas can you mark your enter and exit points of your trades on the chart so that we can see actual trades made from your sistem.

Please, read and look carefully.

I will post others, sometimes.

Other people like ejiexe and parsfx have also posted their trades based on my method.

If you demand proof, there is no proof other than your own results!

Hi Dadas,

Your method looks very interesting, not that I understand yet....more reading. I'm learning Price Acton using 1m chart and this could be very useful. I am not interested in indicators but as you rightly say this is a tool to work out S/R and I hope I can learn using 4H,1H,15M,5M and use 1M entry/exit and combined with BRN's,MP's and Pivot Points.This I believe to be Pure Price Action Trading without the brain
damage.

Just, make sure you have a good broker who provides very good M1 charts.

Otherwise, it will be almost impossible to see anything.

I am trying to learn everything that Dadas is trying to teach us . can anyone help with these questions ?
I refer to page 1 pic no. 9

I cant see where no.4 zone is preceeding an engulfing candle

Ditto no.5 (unless on 5 we are only looking at the body of the candle )

any help appreciated.

When you learning its good to have all on your chart and not just one part your rectangels on PTECZ but also real trades.
You say that you can show you a thousand trades..isnt the same if you say that you can show me thousand of PTECZ what you are already doing. I and everyone who follow this thread are very greatfull for this.
Draw PTECZ is one part of story and fire the trades is another which is also important don't you think?
I undestand you but when you post charts it takes few second and not more to drag trade from Account history to this chart.
