In related news.....................There's a bank out there that got raided today by the F.B.I. (Fibs Being Investigated). Rumor has it that the bank would hire somebody off the street, and tell them to hit a big red button at certain fib levels, that would buy or sell a huge amount of a certain currency pair. The only problem was, that every time the button was hit, it was really stealing 38.2 million dollars from the federal government's budget. The F.B.I. says that 23.6 people are involved in this scam, and are seeking each of them receive 61.8 years in federal prison. That's the news. Back to the blues. The market is closed every week for 1.618 days. Have a fib-U-less weekend.

If there are plants that grow this tall and others that grow that tall, when it comes to a pair, you'd have to know how tall both grow, on average. To use the fib on Eur/Usd without considering the Euro and the Usd, separately, then you're only praying. Even if you take both currencies into account without pairing them, you'd still should know the players that move the currencies. By this, I don't mean simply only speculators, but corporations, as well. How often does Apple pay Foxconn or whatever to make some phones?

i'm not sure how often or at what price, but i do know that it must definitely be on one of the fib extensions... steve accepts nothing less than 100% !

the whole fib thing strikes me as a whole lot of hubris. people thinking their mathemagical numbers mean a damn thing in a world of monetary transfers. yes, with all of the banks / fed dicking around, and businesses moving money and hedging their exposure and so on and so forth, the BIG money is definitely with the small clump of muppets painting rainbows on their 'professional traders' mt4 chart.

it's like seeing the barely human hirsute beasts with their coke-bottle glasses adorning their faces and a pepsi and pizza welded to their paws drooling over a super-serious game of pogs or yu-gi-oh or whatever it is uber nerds live for. guess what folks.... nobody in the real world cares about your infantile obsessions. shocking!

It could be possible, maybe, to come up with an rocket-science equation that would help out with the fibs. You'd have to take literally everything into account that's done on all the markets. This is why I don't like Gann trading, where people use the locations of the planets and whatnot. You'd have to know where our solar system is in relation to other solar systems and how fast it's moving and all the astronomical stuff. Way too much information to be accounted for, especially being a retail trader.

It's really simple folks. Connect a bottom with a top, look at the Golden Ratio for the next drop. If proper money management is not in place, look at margin call in your face. You know, it's like old nursery rhyme, "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All of the Kings horse, all of the Kings men, couldn't put Humpty back together again." Do you know why? Because Humpty didn't have a R:R ratio that was golden.
