Finally made it home, lookin at the charts and i wish it was Monday so we can collect pips in the range of Monthly R1 @ 1.30450 and weekly R1 @ 1.29940. There is a good chance that we start with gap up and I cross my fingers to jump over monthly R1 (entered Long @ 1.29975 as I type here).

On the news around here (in Bulgaria) is that North Korea said that all embassies should be evacuated by 10.04.2013, cuz they cannot guarantee for their safety after that date (IMO North Korea are jumping in deep sh*t both legs and eyes shut).

Cyprus went all crazy again on rumors that smaller accounts will be taxed, so long tails in front of banks. Plus there is death threat to some bank director (didn't got his name)

Edit : I'm having much fun reading all the strategies, styles and minds of you guys when someone new for the thread (like myself) is asking questions around. Then it gets really interesting glad to read those questions and opinions from Pilager and Robby

IMHO if shit>fan the dollar will go sky high and I got plenty of shorts and if not I have 4 longs scattered from 1.3031 to 1.3198

All are welcome here new and old alike. And I for one dont mind answering questions.

[NEW YORK April 5, 2013 19:52 GMT] Overnight ranges were tight & NY walked in with the pair .2930 pre-US & Canadian jobs. Both nations’ jobs data missed big with Canada’s loss much bigger on a relative basis. EUR went bid against North America as the ECB isn't moving on rates soon. EUR/USD rallied from 1.2930 to 1.3040, EUR/CAD ran from 1.3100 to 1.3315 & even EUR/MXN spiked from 15.9250 to 16.14 before pulling back to 15.87. JPY crosses remained broadly bid. EUR/JPY rallied from pre-NFP levels of 124.30 to a new high of 127.29. Little pullback was seen & EUR/JPY sat near 127.20 into the close. EUR/USD drifted aimlessly in the afternoon & settled just below 1.3020. The March 25 high at 1.3050 is key res for now. Talk of a 1.3050 barrier & offers ahead of that level cap for now but it may only be a matter of time before the level is cracked. Daily & weekly RSIs have turned bullish & two consecutives closes above the 200 & 21DMAs emboldens bulls. The USD’s yield advantage wanes again & will likely aid to keep EUR firm against the greenback. Above 1.3050 will have the mkt target 1.3095/1.3110 where the upper 21d Bolli & March 15 high reside.

Ok, I know US economy is based on wars, but i thought most of them are for oil and drugs (kinda), or just selling weapons to their enemy, but now isn't it different? Isn't N Korea too dangerous enemy, and in that relation doesn't that mean that dollar will go down? For all I know when somebody is in war his economy sinks (and that's when you are in real war, not like slapping around some helpless small country)?

So why will dollar go up?

Dollar is a save haven (supposedly) and when there is risk off its dollar on.

Both leaders are in deep doo doo. NK is starving and US economy is going to hell.

Wartime boosts production and increases GDP in the US case.

For NK he is playing a high game poker for which he wants aid (again)

The only the USS of A exports now is greenbacks (printing) and weapons. We are soooo doomed.

Dollar will always strengthen with war (unless it is on US soil)

a though week ended without damage + with a good profit.

Looks like the EU slipped right back to 1.2922 after the mt4 brokers all shut down Friday night.....

So that erased all the gains of NFP, I honestly wonder where we will start Sunday night and Monday morning, but so much depends on the threats of unrest around Korea.

These weekend gaps up and down have been rather noticeable the last month or so, perhaps more in pairs like EJ than in EU
