I just build a robot with 0.5% entry but back test show make $200.000 long term run
I need someone who can help add stoploss and cut lose in money

I think it will help reduce the drag down and increase the profits

May I know the system is trending, scalping ,breakout or.....? And may I know the system risk? I mean under what scenario your system do bad?

Not useful if using martingale by this way. You have no evidence to prove that the next game is win. I mean the statistical data. No matter how many percentage of martingale did you use, eventually it would keep RR back to its value(Without martingale method).

May I know your system probability? Are you using fixed SL and TP for each trade?

You might suffer margin call due to large lot size to be used if series of trade are losing, which cause you big DD. And you would definitely blow up your account if your system probability is bad, and without a reasonable capital to keep your system on right track. Yes, you would earn back the lose amount in one day if it is win if you have big capital on hand.
i am prefer put one option for this ea, STOPLOSS IN money

if price has not reach the stoploss level but has lose ( sum of money) the position will EXIT automatically

I think that will reduce drag down. the drag down is not big ,but I still want to reduce it

Can you post full backtest result, so everyone would know? If you just post equity chart, I think is meaningless. I also have plenty of EA can make money with good equity chart, but the reason is which EA would do proper entry exit or proper trading. I mean without using risky averaging down or hold position method.

I can code an EA with close all position then restart. Yes I agree that it would reduce the DD, because I did this numerous of times. The important point here is if one EA has uncontrollable of lot size, means lot size is always added until profit is confirmed, as well as your EA here, so I don't suggest you trade this EA, because you would blow up your account one day even now you has a good result of backtesting.

My above advice is IF your EA do martingale by x% if hit SL, or close all position. Otherwise, please post your full results and let me check and understand. I won't help you this because it would hurt you.

the martigale couod turn on off. replace with MM , risk base position 0.25% , less then 1% ,

the multiple is only 1.25% , not multiple x 2 . it will works


could anyone add stoploss in money option?
I got one ea need to modified too. I have backtest it for half year and it shows profitable. But slow returns. The ea have a random stoploss depends on the length of candle. But I prefer to set a fix stoploss . Someone can help me on this?

As you have mentioned before, your system is based on candles breakout. And I have understand your system MM now. So may u explain more on this how you do entry and exit? What is the probability of backtesting?

Doesn't matter the multiplier. You will ruin your account soon or later. Any kind of martingale, any kind of multiplier.

The only things to make an EA profitable is to work on the entry points and on how you will manage the trades once opened.

Try to recover a loss is a guarantee of failure in the long term.

Hi Ferru, Can you help me to modify my EA? I just need a fix Stop Loss. BUt my EA have the stop loss based on candle length. Could you help me on that?
i like this comment , if i turn off the multipier by lots then just use the MM ,

thats mean the position size will increase if the balance was increased, but we still add the stop loss by money.

does not matter the size is if the loss is $10 for example , the position will out

trading is hardest game I ever face , hardest then bet a soccer....

before add the stoploss in money , stoploss by step and stop loss by opposite price action,
I will fix the entry accuracy rate 1st .

Is possible to use averaging down in 1 min TF in eurchf pair? I think it need to be control by certain DD then close all position, and it could be hedged by the open position of opposite direction. Just my thought.
TP when balance profits from that hedge ?

it will not make parabolic pattern, only make some profits ,however if your vps or internet hang ,,then it will chaos and burn

also margin call will come

I have TP in money ,

back test results is up ..but I want try add Stoploss in money
