I don't use renko for my strategy so unlikely to include it in dashboard .... sorry

I would suggest the reason you don't see any good EA's is because people would not normally release such a thing i.e. giving away the goose that lays the golden eggs

I have a problem that has been very difficult on mt4. Maybe someone can help?

MT4 (not sure if MT5 is same) has very difficult time issues i.e. brokers do no use a consistent timezone for 'broker' time. My trading method needs to know where it is in a session and where news is happening. This has been achieved in the dashboard by providing a parameter to enter an offset to fix it.

With my EA, this is no good. We need the ability to backtest with accuracy. I can achieve this easily in JForex because all ticks are UTC. Daylight saving and local timezones have no affect.

I find it quite startling that many EA's have been produced for and backtested on metatrader without taking this into account.

Has anyone seen any method to get the time in historical ticks to match UTC without requiring the user to adjust settings?

If it's just for backtesting and you are really stuck can you take a table with correct historical pivots and call that somehow? Messy but if other EA's have not addressed it it probably fell into the too difficult box.

that would be fine as long as the broker does not change it's UTC offset when daylight saving comes around. I think I have seen this happen and that would not be good when you want to avoid time critical news like NFP.

It's important to avoid NFP during back tests. This is why I don't trust back test results from EA's that run on MT4.

Is a possibility but the calculations required to 'sync' the hourly data would be too inefficient. I would have to calculate for every hour +/- 24 around my calculated pivots. The results would have a margin of error as all price feeds are not equal (due to spreads being different on each broker).

I am building this code to be as efficient as possible. People should not notice any slowness of their trading platform due to my calculations.

More on timezone ... my trading method relies heavily on knowing when NY close is. This thread gives a hint at what I'm after.

The change of timezone at daylight saving breaks what I require out of MT4 for my EA. If the broker changes GMT (read UTC) offset at daylight saving then all calcs will be screwed up. I worry about all the new traders that learn to use pivots for trading but have no idea that this simple problem thwats them.

Unless I solve this problem my EA will be useless on MT4/5 without a lot of user interaction (changing time zone offsets to match broker). Backtesting will be virtually impossible on metatrader.

JForex coding is coming along fine and I have kept all my important code in a c++ dll so that once this (metatrader) problem is solved I can easily implement the EA on MT4/5.

I like that site ... and registered.

I had some bad news about Metaquotes ... they are not happy with how some people have made dlls that act as bridges etc. I've heard that metaquotes may stop allowing MQL to call dlls.

If they do this, my indicators will stop working as I make calls to standard windows dlls for mini charts etc.

I've just spent 3 weeks of hard core programming on a dll to get the advantages it provides. There's functionality I require that I just can't get in MQL. My dll is working well with JForex i.e. all my important indicator info is calculated external to the trading platform. All that is required is to write code in a trading platform that it interfaces.

From what I can see it sounds like there may be an update to MT4 on Monday 15th that will stop our precious indicators working. I have no idea of the truth of any of this but as a precaution I am going to disable my updates on my live system if I can and will then test on another PC. If anyone is more of an expert than me on all this please post. It does sound a bit counter productive. The only reason MT4 is so popular is because of its openness and flexibility. We shall see.

Maybe you are right, do it's weird, i don't have problem loading any single page other than pipware, and the message that i referred to is from the pipware hosting server.
Doing a dns lookup it's seems that one of the DNS servers (ray.ns.cloudflare.com) for pipware has an invalid record, and probably my route trying to use that server:
