Basically by taking direction solely off H4 / H1 levels and then manually marking off M5 and M15 levels only in the direction of the high time frame.

Also plotting support turns resistance on higher time frames onto the lower TF charts and watching PA around these areas.

What about the other way around. Plotting 4H+1H on the LTF, then no need to draw so many zones?

Yep there was no real reason to have taken any demand level on EU today after that obvious S/R flip. However, I took iPhone entries at work on those two lower levels thinking they would hold after ATR was so extended. Must stop doing this.

When I checked my phone later I noticed these positions were in heavy drawdown since my luktom manager wasn't active on MT4...

Slightly angry with this since this was my AG account that was up 56%. Anyway, nothing that can't be repaired with a half decent session.

Usually H4/H1/M15 and M5. and you're right you can plot H4/H1 on the lower TF charts.

I just began my scalping career, so im learning alot from your thread here and on AG.
I began recently to focus on EURUSD but only M5/M15/M30/1H + USDX same TF

Similar really. I do occasionally look at GU, AU, UJ and EJ for other scalps and occasionally NU but mostly EURUSD.

Interesting discussion about being on the wrong side of strong moves. I try to correlate the DX with the Euro, it filters some but your still going to get hit. Maybe reverse trade when your signals fail or as C-12 says place a mechanical rule into your plan.

It's difficult and really frustrating for me though as the bad days tend to affect my confidence on the good days.

This is one thing I really need to focus on.

Well one thing for sure today, the M1 and M5 levels have been beautiful either way. Absolute no brainers.

If I'm at home, I'd look to cut and reverse but not so easy on iphone. Must stop doing this but all losses recovered today and some.

Hi nail.

attached Trade selection the simple mechanical rule to identification signal sell or buy from H4 time frame
if price close above 2 previous bar high just looking for long set up, if price close below 2 previous bar low just looking for sell set up
put the horizontal line and zoom to lower time frame ......

i've burnt myself by taking any notice of ATR. now i don't care about that. I'm heavily bearish the EU due to monthly engulf south with nothing much to stop it down to 1.23 (prob a bounce at 1.27)
