Yes we thought it might move higher toward 3030, and as you mentioned, when the deal for cyprus came through, the market filled the gap, but at the same time we said this deal is bad for the euro, and that is exactly what the market felt, a pop up above 3000, and then straight down the basement. The next couple of weeks will be interesting, with many possible set ups for trades.

after eurusd not being able to substancially break 2855 main resistance and 2846 fibonacci on my charts, I´m

long @2869
SL @2839
TP @3035 and @3271 in advance (for a swing-runner of around 10% that is..)

However, I remain sceptical and see possibility of exiting earlier once I reached R:R of 1:1 or better (will BE then anyways)

Cyprus deal caused permanent damage to the Euro, it will be hurting for a long time, and I belive we will see lows below 1.200 within 6 months. Euro owners do not know where to park their Euros, because they might get taxed, as in Cyprus, so the Euro will run away to safe currencies and dollars.
So my belief is we are going down, but for today I think it will be choppy untill the news this afternoon.

lots of Cypriots will leave the place looking for work...ironically enough to Germany...after all that is where they need labor the most...

probably it will end up with a german "Solidaritätskampagne" to help the poor, unlucky cypriot people to get back on their feet. Then EU has what it wants - a destabilized, dependent country without russian money and - due to the selfless caretaking of Ms. Supermerkel and the cheating on russian "investors" - without a russian rocket / military base.
