Just want to say to newbies and not so experienced traders.
These days price is predominantly influaced by news and sun 4hr candle is not an indication that price will continue either direction of breakout for the rest of the week.
please show discretion.

Well said,,,,I have mentioned keeping it on DEMO accounts. I do it live to very small sums.....a bit like putting a small bet on a horse...!!

It is a way to meet newbies and to get used to placing entry orders,stops, etc...

Can I ask you to tell us which Country you are posting from too...

If you have any threads to recomend, please do so here too,.

Some information on my profile.
What is important is to be able to dance with price.Not stepping on feet and not being out of step.This system is weak on many levels.
It is assumed what happens on sun 4hr candle should carry on rest of week.
One only needs to look at daily calendar (red boxes) to get an idea...that is seldom the case.
Trading is lot more involved.There is no lazy place orders and forget about it.

I have been left disappointed with most of them...simply because they get too technical for newcomers,

the one you recommended is so advanced that I cannot understand a thing they are talking about..

As a newcomer to any thread it is virtually impossible to read and understand the 20,000 or so postings...I have tried and tried...!!!

Good luck to all those who happily post away on these complex threads, I wish them every success,

the only one thread that I am intrigued by is ICHIMOKU, there is a relatively new thread on here which is great

I wonder what you, as a seasoned trader, think of this method,

i trade mostly 4 hr. or 1 hr. support and resistance method. I have an indi of Barry. i find it very convenient n easy to trade.

I asked why a long time ago, I did a back test with a system very similar to this, and based on my MM was giving a result of 3% per month. For one thing I found interesting not having to worry about breaking your head and just follow a cake recipe, but I thought the profit was not as good.

My test was a 2 year period

Thanks BEHMAN... I am doing fine but losing the will to keep updating this method as it is not a skillful method, I fear that it is encouraging newbies to go along the wrong path...!!!

I would love to know what system you use, would you be good enough to tell us what it is on this thread please...???

I try mostly to stick to my 4 hr chart only and take trades buy or sell on support n resistance only. not less than 4 hr. i prefer because there is too much noise below 4 hr. News , etc does NOT impact me! I dont read or care about such things. just stick to my 4 hr. s/r. Thats it.
Most Important thing is Money Management.
I Never put Stoploss, ever! Manually if i feel i should get out I get out. Just look at your s/r only nothing else, because it will come to that point eventually.
