Update on Pending 1D trade: USDCAD

Missed my pending sell limit by 1 pip, then price moved towards the FTA smoothly.

Decided to take my sell limit off, and probably look for potential 1H short tonight.

1. SFP at strong supply area
2. Valid 1H signature at D + W HCR/LCS combo (strong level)
3. Safe SL with BRN 95.00 standing below it

Stopped out for a full 1R loss.

This SFP wasn't the kind of V shaped SFP that I would prefer, and 1H signature on the D + W HCR/LCS level wasn't strong enough to withstand the uptrend probably.

Anyway, accept the loss and move on.

Also a valid 1H RR entry. However, decide not to have a blind trade, but watch for PA/confirmation instead.

Watch for 4H signature/1H bullish PA for a long entry.

I like the movements of the price, therefore, decided to place buy limit for a touchtrade.

Buy limit @ 0.9488
SL @ 0.9418
TP @ 0.9645

Reasons:
1. PBT&CA strong level of D + W HCR (also a dual D HCR from last week) + BRN 0.9500
2. Valid 1H RR entry, with clean price action

Now the question is, will my entry be triggered because the BRN 0.9500 seems to be acting as support.

WOw, things are working very quickly... Price bounced hard (20 pips) at 10 pips above the level of interest, also was a bounce from BRN 0.9500.

This would invalide the 1H RR entry. Too risky for a TT based on the D + W HCR level. Decided to wait for PA or DCC for a long entry.

If it doesn't come back, so be it.

As the saying goes: "A missed trade is better than a losing trade"
