Trading weekly, if that's what is working for you, then that should be fine but that needs deeper pockets if you know what i mean and forget about rescues.

I always go back to your charts they are so clear for understanding and learning.
i have a question for you. When you trade, is market hours a function for you.
I mean if you see a great pattern but it in lunch time will you take it?
Will you send a scout or you will wait for after lunch to fight ?

are you stuck with cyprus tormoil?
when there is momentum... then i start watching market top-down approach
i will see majors and crosses trying to understand their past behaviour and feel...
once directional bias has been stablished ... only then scout will be deployed...
i normally trade during london session up to new york lunch...
once in a trade and heavily positioned... i'm very mindfull with news events (major & not so important) and also lunch time corrections( or sometimes reversals)...
i don't follow patterns... but i'm keeping an eye on levels... but not...
