My point is, our human minds were made to be picked and fleeced by the market makers and manipulators who know that to us, the general population of traders, 3 weeks is a very long term trade. I say the Aud can on a whim make their currency once again the "go to" currency. Tell you why. In the end, people will always flock to currencies that pay the highest interest which to banks, is not interest, it is huge residual income! They will never give that up for long. And if the Aud ever goes back to 4%, suddenly every reason in the world to buy that currency will come back. The country is in a recession now? So what? Half of Europe is broke and half of South America is crumbling from corruption and half of Africa is at war or totally ungoverned. People always put their money where
1-The interest is highest.
2-The country has the best military to protect that wealth-(USD)
3-tHE COUNTRY IS THE MOST CIVILIZED AND ITS PEOPLE GET ALONG THE BEST(pick any 1st world country)

For all we know, big institutions are slowly and quietly glomming up huge blocks of AUD pairs, especially against the JPY and lower interest currencies. If the AUD is dead....so might the world. EUR will crumble long before the AUD. Partly....look at the "animals" they have had immigrating their in the last 10 yrs. You know in Sweden alone rape has gone up 1000%. Lets really worry about that! Seriously.

Im starting another thread called :How can we devise a system so we dont ever get caught up in yesterdays 400 pip swings and 150 pip spikes ever again. There will be little or no investigation as to who was on the other side of those trades that came all at once in 6 hrs like it hasnt in 2 yrs. No one cares about protecting the retail investor....at all. Now, how do we protect ourselves with the right system?

If you got lucky fine, but you know how many thousands of account holders no longer have an account because they wanted to leave a lot of room just in case we had BIG SPIKES...and now they are done. Its criminal. Look for: WHAT TACTICS WILL PREVENT GETTING HURT IN YESTERDAYS ENORMOUS SWINGS EVER AGAIN.

If it's counter-trading, which is disabled by a lot of brokers, or stop losses when pendings the other way on every trade, good on you I hope it works.

Plenty of account holders who were on the wrong side of the market in real money FX funds as well as equities.

You get days like these.

Italian election and Japanese central banker comments.

Best way to protect yourself is to proceed with caution in up and coming known political events.

Not worth it really.

I day trade GBP,USD,EUR,JPY,AUD and NZD. No CHF or CAD yet, need more capital... and a bigger screen (or 2)

But using TA, we have broken resistance @1.022 now the low exists at 1.02, should retest tonight, would be reasonable long entry, with stop below, and counter trade below 1.02, watch out for stop hunt though.

I believe there is a Yearly Pivot at 1.017, could be the reason why market did not drop 50 pips after treading below 1.02 last night

I was just looking into it,

I cannot find where 1.017 came from so I am going to ignore it.

Basically looking at resistance lines at 1.02 and 1.015. then 1.01 and parity...

Personally I see market rejecting at 1.015, this may have already begun at 1.018, although I don't believe downtrend is finished yet.

If there is a rate cut, we will see parity in my eyes. But then again, if rates maintain stable for a few months and begin to rise in the near future, Aussie will regain it's strength


My chart basically shows where I got the resistance point from. the other lines are not important

If his Count is correct, holding the Short while taking 2 positions (or so) long to hedge the Wave 2 could be a VERY good choice!
