DislikedHi dr zulu and welcome
my view of it is....
Market is like nature wild and wavy, it is just us who try to impose our rigid will of straight lines and laws of conformity on it that we somehow plucked out of thin air and pass to each other as knowledge to measure and fit what we want it to. That is why we have much trouble dealing with the market, because of what we are told to believe, forget all the rigid rubbish that we have been taught use your mind to look and you will see.
balance and imbalance makes the flow and rhythm of the market...Ignored
DislikedThank you Phil.
I'm tryin' hard to do it but it takes much effort for me.Ignored
Dislikedwhen I finally stopped looking for the rubbish I had learnt and started to look at myself and what really was going on in the market, that is when I started to see things clearer, the rest just developed over time with practice, you seem open to this way of trading and have done your homework before posting here so I am sure you will start picking up the bits, working out how to put them together and work out the strategies to deal with what the market throws at you with a bit of patience and practice.
It was not easy for me either...Ignored

DislikedHi frz
yes, it is very hard to get rid of, in fact I am not sure that you can completely get rid of it, yesterday I was not feeling 100% so at about 10am I stopped trading and decide to sit aside until I felt better, by the after noon I was feeling a little better so I traded but I knew that I still should not really (my inner voice), I did not listen and paid the price, I could clearly see flow was down in the afternoon but I traded against it believing it would/was about to turn (this is not something I normally do), I am looking at it now...Ignored
Dislikeddon;'t be so hard on self.
no one's perfect.
relax, ease back confortably. ask ambition take back seat, and it will come to you.
can't be perfect, only striving for execellence every day.
don't be too hard on self, make less mistakes everyday.
one day we go home then maybe we can be perfect.
realisation of disease is 1st steps to cure.

Dislikedyap, i couldn't completely get rid of it.
just knowing what work or what doesn't work.
it would mold my new perception overtime.
wow, rescue thingy is something that i'm studying now.
suprised that method could minimalise pain effectively.

DislikedThis sounds just like me and my rigid ways a few pages back. Glad it worked out for ya.
At least you could manage, my broker lost the feed for 5 hours. Never been that worried before.Ignored
DislikedHi frz
I personally now use attack and rescue as one trading tool to adjust my positions according to the market conditions, I now totally accept that all/any of my trade entries only have 50/50 or less chance of being correct so I will often turn a rescue into attack to gain a better starting position, but in this instance it was completely my idiotic error that put me in that position so I just wanted out of that trade altogether to clear my mind of it and start again clear and fresh.
I always reserve plenty of back up for my defence,...Ignored

Dislikedwell, market has wipe my account several times.
and i know this will happens to me,
so, before it happens.. i divide my capital.
i'm trade with just little of that amount.
in the case of rescue attack thingy, i have lose several time due lack of understanding.
market taught me well
this is powerfull stuff, but if i had no better understanding, it would kill my account entirely.
so, now my task is knowing where i must cut the losses and where i ought to rescue.
glad to know you have found your way to feel the market.

DislikedHi Mike
I have been in that position before , not good, hence the broker trawling I have done.
I should of know better, but it was a good reminder, maybe I need one of fti's brick phones to hit some sense into me, I am very happy the reminder lesson was not to harsh though.
that what does not kill us only makes us stronger.

DislikedHi frz
lessons are all part of the journey. some are tough.
you do realise that nothing is fixed/set in stone, for example there are no rules if your attack/rescue starts to go against you there are many options still available to you, think about it and what you could do, for me first to consider quickly is to lighten the load (cut/kill some, half maybe?), helps stem the bleeding. I have found many people who come here neglect this option, also it can be done again and again as the market moves against you, if you wish, of course ideally...Ignored
