break of 3361 will probably open up the virgin POC @ 3315, but expect it to be a choppy ride because the layer of POC support between 3362 and 3337


break of yesterdays high might result in test of the layer of POC resistance between 3447 and 3456; break of 3456 will reveal 3532 and 3539 as well as the virgin POC @ 3564

Here is my preliminary LEVEL analysis, there are some similarities.

Possible Asian range 3380-3420. Midnight GMT candle opened above DPP ( 3395) making 3380 support and even 3360 stronger. Now the break of 3355 aims for 3331. 3325 out of table ATM. 3440 break above aims for 3470.

I will share my fundamental observations on repeating patterns from 10:00 PM EST or the open in Asia (Hong Kong)

The RETAIL trade plays until 2:00 AM EST when Europe comes on board inFrankfort.

THEN the DAX, CAC and FTSE equity markets open and the trading desks come on board and usually reverse the markets short term. As new informstion or spin comes out we see if We have Risk On or Off in Europe.

By 6:00 AM EST North American is coming aboard as CNBC starts reviewing news and overnight events.

By 7:00 AM EST comes around the North America RETAIL trade joins in as we await new data or news at 8:30 AM EST and 10:00 AM EST and also at 10:00 AM EST we have Option Expiry.

THEN at 11:00 AM EST we get near the close of the Equity markets in Europe and by NOON most if not all the trading desks have gone home.

IN THE AFTERNOON from 2:00 PM EST to 5:00 PM we end the day with the 5:00PM EST Rollover.

I would be happy to answer any questions that my post might have created.

As for EURUSD we are still trapped in a range. Breakouts should be traded if this range remains. PA is bullish by looking at configuration and yet again 3365 has been bought. Only above 3440 3470 is the target.

Downside is capped by 3365.

Well...long @ 3440 as Breakout trade, that was it. Now The target might be 3470, for trend trades we need to wait for a retracement.

3466 reached, there is still room to the upside, but as long as u played out BO trade next should be a retracement one. 3435-25 would be good.

Next entry i would like to see between 3395 -3375 but not on SPIKE volatility. It would be a 3rd swing.

EU is consolidating above MPP 3408, making MPP as a support. Look at m5 wicks above 3408. Break of 3408 could give a breakout trade also.

I want to discuss the events between now and 12:00 Noon EST as it might affect EUR USD.

Option Expiry happens every day at 10:00 AM EST Monday to Friday. This has an effect on EUR USD as the large players are involved in the Strike Price on the various option contracts. I look for this in my trading as another tool to be used. There is also US Data out at 10:00 AM EST most days so that also comes in play.

As EUR USD contracts are closed towards the end of the forex trading day in Europe you can see pressure as short covering takes place or profits are taken. Once Europe closes at 11:30 AM EST the MONEYFLOW factor then is only through the North American Equity markets. By Noon most if not ALL forex traders at the big desks have left for the day.

I also want to mention about USD JPY as it continues to head towards 95.00 and as it does it brings EUR JPY up with it as if you look at a chart you can see this. This is a RECENT new factor as it causes EUR USD to move with it most of the time.

On my FXCM UK Trading platform I have the following Asset Classes in front of me.

EUR USD EUR JPY USD JPY USD CHF EUR CHF USD AUD USD CAD GBP USD and then GOLD OIL DOW and SP500

I always have CNBC on watching the Yield on the 2 Year US Bonds and the 10 Year US Bonds. A useful site to monitor Risk On or Risk Off is FINVEZ.
