I saw the sharp pullback after the strong prior up move. It wasn't retail causing this reversal to happen.

I immediately saw a fresh supply level that was left behind so I jumped in (a little early maybe). Got to BE quick and then looked at the higher time frame and saw the potential for a lower low. Then it was just rinse and repeat, fresh demand level forms and retest. I'm getting better at spotting them.

If I wasn't heading off to work I would have taken my 30 pips off the long and run but ended up with BE after checking my iphone.

Sorry C-12 how can you trade in this way with this indicator since always repaints? I'm very interested in this strategy but every time i get a signal and i'm ready to open a position, the price breaks that level and the indi repaints forming another one.

And i'm trading on M30, H1...not more on M1, but with same bad results.

Can you help me?

Two positions running at the moment but the damm Pepperstrone price feed is freezing for 10 minutes already. Don't get me wrong. Its a great broker but this clearly should not happen. Was about to take initial profit from cable in order to cover my second position.. Wouldn't let me do so =/ Bad and unlucky day. BE nonetheless but it could have been more...

Try removing the indicator and drawing your own supply and demand levels. Once you've got good at it then put the indicator back on and your mind will automatically filter out the weak levels.

It was basically a bunch of bars with wicks showing demand had been consumed. Strong S&D levels have a specific character to them. Usually identified by fat candle bodies, showing potential signs of unfilled orders.

After a while you can pick them out really quickly.

By fat candle bodies, you mean bodies with small wicks or tails, preferably both? Basically the opposite of a doji?

For supply you want very small wicks on the top of the candles. For demand you want small wicks on the bottom of the candles (mostly).

It's probably easier to explain this in images but once you've got your eyes trained you can pick them out within seconds. I'd imagine that 99% of the trades I've uploaded on this thread show a buy or a sell off an S&D level so worth flicking through the charts.

I usually try and show the level I've bought or sold against where I can.

Yes thank you for the feedback, slowly digesting the thread.

The thing that intrigues me about this USDJPY trade is that the last level, looking left, is in 2010, and price rose almost 250 pips above the point you were short today. Did you base your trade on 2010 action?

What interested me was the fresh M5 supply level that formed giving me a heads up to get short. I wasn't thinking swing trade top so I wasn't looking so far back in time.

I knew that price would have to cut through that new supply level before possibly going higher so putting my stop initially behind that level was very low risk.

A lot of people get stuck with supply and demand by thinking levels are only ever static and historic. However, new fresh levels form all the time, so it's good to be able to spot them and react to them as they form.

By high/low indi do you mean the 15M fractals shown on this picture? If so here it is.. I use fractals for more clear observations on S/R & trend lines. TL's are simply generated when one line is able to touch 3 15M fractals. I then watch supply and demand forming at these confluence levels, place my stop just above these levels for a good R:R. I know you didn't ask for this but I guess it couldn't hurt to tell in what way I use fractals.
